I have so much high expectations to the cafe itself. I heard it from a friend and read good reviews about it but it met most of my dissatisfaction. I am not picky when it comes to food, everybody that knows me can say that and know that. When we got in the store, line was very long but it was actually the best to go line. We were approached at the line and questioned if we are staying. We were told it was 40 minutes wait and we were willing to wait. Another family came after us. And we gave them the information on what we had yet they got taken first. I approached the waitress and I told her that we were told that we were next and she told me a lie that the family was there first. I told her that we were here before them. I let the family remained seated but was disappointed with the waitress and her lie. We ordered but croissant was all out and what was left was the cold dessert. We ordered three kinds of dessert but only taste good which is the triple layer mouse. We ordered mango juice, iced matcha, hot chocolate and latte. I love coffee but didn’t even get to finish it because it doesn’t taste as I expected it. Not even close to French coffee When my coffee first came, the cup that it was served has marked of lipstick in both sides. Mango and ice matcha tasted like water with color. Hot chocolate is ok coz my mom had finished it. We requested for the mango juice and ice matcha to be replaced and fix but was still disappointed. I guess my taste preference is not the same as the one in the good reviews. Everything looks perfect and good until I tasted it. This review is not to hurt the company but to help you improve the quality of your business to serve the ...
Read more*Responding to the owners comment below: my review is solely based off MY experience. The staff person I dealt with wasn’t nice or friendly. It was a brusk “we’re sold out” and that was it. It wasn’t just a few items, everything was sold out. Your product may be “great” but what’s the point if it’s all sold out by afternoon?! Why even stay open to 8pm?? To your point, French Bakery down the street bakes FRESH daily and has PLENTY of supply as well as PLENTY of space. Maybe advertise “Come early” or call before you trek all the way there. Not everyone is avail to come early morning/afternoon. That reminds me, French Bakery is open late till 10pm so everyone has lots of time to get there. Your response could have been “we’re so sorry about that. How about you call ahead next time and we’ll reserve stuff for you” or “let’s us get you a coffee or pastry on us when you come back”. Obviously customer service isn’t your strong suit either but I guess you don’t care about that as you’re “selling out” of everything so why bother…
Don’t bother with this place! Traveled all the way there from a recommendation and everything was sold out. Person at the counter - who wasn’t very friendly and was eager for us to leave even though they weren’t closing for a few more hrs - said they usually sell out by the afternoon. So you can take a chance but why?? When there are plenty of better places all around to go which we did! I recommend the French Bakery shop down the street the opposite direction. Plenty of seating, PLENTY of food, desserts, pastries and actual friendly, welcoming service! Go there instead of this...
Read moreI would rate my overall experience 3 stars. The aesthetic of the place was absolutely stunning — beautifully designed and very inviting. The presentation, quality, and taste of the food were also really impressive. However, I was disappointed with the service. Given how busy this bakery is, there really should be more than 3–4 staff members working. Although I was seated right away (I arrived early), it took about 30 minutes before anyone came to take my order. That’s a long time to wait, especially without any acknowledgment. Additionally, after my food was served, no one came by to check in — no follow-up to see if everything was okay or if I needed anything else. That kind of attentiveness makes a big difference in the dining experience. Lastly, as a bakery, I expected a variety of pastries and cakes to be available. Unfortunately, everything was sold out, which was disappointing since I was really looking forward to trying something sweet. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the service and limited bakery selection left a lot to be desired. I hope they work on these areas, because the place has a lot...
