Coming from LA, I had very low expectations for Korean food in NY. How wrong I was! Saying that this place is great is an understatement. It's perfect: the food is authentic Korean; the atmosphere is nice and clean; the music is nostalgic and soothing; the open kitchen that I can watch food prep/cooking is entertaining and fun. The servers are nice and smiling. But the best part: THE PRICES ARE STILL VERY REASONABLE and GOOD! Japchae (sweet potato vermicelli mixed with veggies and bulgogi) was seasoned perfectly and well balanced, with the noodles that were not over or under-cooked like in most other places. Bibimbap (mixed rice or healthier unfried rice) had so much healthy and seasoned veggies. The gochujang (chili sauce) that came with it was very satisfying since it brought out all the flavors of the veggies and gave the dish a nice kick. Mandoo dumplings were crispy outside, and inside fillings were yummy. Kimbap (seaweed rolled rice) was terrific, fillings and rice were well seasoned and balanced. Dukkbokky (hot and spicy rice cake) was a hit, drenched in hot and sweet Korea chili sauce/paste. Pajun (scallion or green onion pancake) was pan fried crispy outside with pleasantly surprising slices of spicy chili peppers. Bingsoo (snow/flaky ice with red beans and condensed milk) dessert was delicious with all the fruit bits along with rice cake bits. I would definitely come back here when I'm in the Big Apple, or better put, I would definitely come back to the Big Apple to...

Charge exactly the same money, but change Kalbi short rib to thinner and dry lower quality one

Used to like this place, however, last year it was $15-$16 and then the restaurant sent email to tell the customers that they needed to raise money because of the cost then after raising the price and the restaurant also lower the quality of the Kalbi short ribs. It is definitely not short ribs provided from last year to early this year

No matter what kind of food you provide with customer, experiencing this dishonest action just make people don’t believe that you really care about customers.

Just saw the reply and just find whatever unreasonable excuse. The quality of the meat is quite different. The same provider doesn’t mean that you ordered the same quality of meat. It’s not about I live in a rock. I don’t mind if you adjust the price, but you shouldn’t done great quality and raise the price

By the way, nobody ask you to put that menu you put that menu and how much it cost. You need to decide reasonably but quality is it’s getting worse. It is the truth. I also see other reviewers give you opinions, but you are still arguing with them with bad or sarcastic words? How unbelievable a restaurant owner is like this attitude when people spending time to give you feedback? I was ordering many times that’s why I give the opinion. But it is clearly you don’t want to improve with this kind of attitude just prove something read the wrong with this restaurant, owner and...

I'll admit, I hesitated to spend over $20 on delivered japchae....but I'm glad I took a chance.

It was very cold when it arrived, which was strange because they're not even 5 blocks away. Nonetheless, that's what microwaves are for.

1stly, I very much appreciated their level of safety. My food was pretty much tamper proof.

2nd, good portion sizes for the price. There was a good amount of meat ( not like how some places try to rip you off) . The texture was almost perfect. I'm sure it would have been if I'd been able to eat it warm as soon as they made it, so I'm planning to stop by and check it out again (of course, I'll add a update too). The veggies to meat to noodles ratio were very balanced. It wasn't at all dry or overly oily ( thank you, chef )

3rd, they use square at their checkout system. I've had extremely terrible experiences with Square. Thankfully, nothing went wonkey.

As far as perks, I did see they have a rewards system, which is nice for when you plan to frequent somewhere.

Overall, I'll be...
