Honestly I had hopes for this spot since majority of the reviews were decent. I’m sad to say the food was disappointing. I’ve had better tacos before. I had the empanadas and calamari as apps. The chicken empanadas were okay and calamari was lacking seasoning. Even the sauce that came with the calamari was lacking. So far.. not good. We ordered a bunch of tacos. Oh we also got the the Maduros which was awesome. Gosh.. that might have been the best dish thus far. Entree we got a bunch of tacos. Honestly it was okay. Nothing crazy special. The reason for three stars but it was the service. The waitress did serve us and was attentive you can say since they weren’t busy. Towards the end of the meal, the waitress started to take some dishes away. Okay. No big deal. I came With my family and we didn’t think anything of it. A couple mins later , the waitress came back again. I felt they were trying to kick us out. It wasn’t even closing time ! They still had one table. After that we asked for the check which they already added the tip. Okay whatever. When we left, one of my family member thank them. They didn’t say anything. The restaurant should work on hospitality skills and not passive aggressive behavior. I felt because we didn’t order drinks or order much , the staff were treating us a way. Read moreThis is what I received for the "Enchiladas de Pollo" with green sauce. There is at least 4 or more ounces of sour cream on top, along with sliced tomatoes, avocado, onion, and the green stuff in the sour cream is lettuce. I also posted their description, which does not list tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, onions, or sour cream in the ingredients. Honestly, it smelled like it was assembled from the trash.
I went through a third party app (GrubHub) and called the restaurant, to see if they would fix that item, which was 75% of my order. They would not. GrubHub instructed me to order something else, with what was refunded (which was less than 1/2 of the order, after delivery, service fees, tax, and tip.) I have since cancelled GrubHub because this is the 3rd messed up order in 24 hours due to either poor preparation of food or for the menu not having the description of the item listed correctly.

Read moreBEWARE OF SNEAKY EXTRA CHARGES! There was a sign outside advertising Happy hour for 8$ a drink, when the bill came we noticed that they were charging us 10$ instead. When I asked the server Melissa why, she told me that those are the set prices in the machine and that she can’t do anything about it, only the manager can. The manager wasn’t there that day. When i was explaining to her how it is false advertising & not right for the restaurant to do that she got upset with me saying that people don’t make an issue about this and usually just pay. She eventually agreed to adjust the price to what was actually advertised ($20 difference) for this one time while guilt tripping me saying that now this is going to come out of her paycheck because she had to void some items. She spoke to me like I was a child when I was simply speaking up on how it’s not right to lure customers in and then up charge them for no reason. Very shady.
