Came here after visiting the American Museum of Natural History, looking for a place with some hot alcoholic beverages to warm us up outside. They have a ton of different cocktails, with about 4 of them being hot. We ended up trying the spiked apple cider, spiced apple hot toddy, apple cider mule and the mulled wine. The drinks were fine, nothing too crazy - if you aren’t sure about the spiked apple cider vs hot toddy, definitely get the cider! The hot toddy was interesting to try but not my favorite. I would’ve loved to have tried other cocktails, but it was so cold the day we visited that we stuck with the hot cocktails. We also got a margarita flatbread, which was tasty! There are two outdoor dining areas, the one right where the entrance to the restaurant is doesn’t have heaters, while the space on the street curb does. If you want to sit in the heated areas we were told you had to make a reservation. Luckily they were pretty nice and while we were already drinking our first round of drinks, there was a table on the edge of the heated dining area we moved to. Although it was slightly more sheltered, we were still pretty cold, so I would recommend reserving a table in the innermost area directly under the heaters if it’s a cold day! Would definitely return once the weather gets a bit warmer.

First time at this location. My redhaired bartender was lovely and great to me. The outside had 6 -7 tables but people, unfortunately, kept coming inside for their server/service. I Ordered the Steak Bruschetta. Overall/ the flavors were there. The steak (tasted like hangar) was generously seasoned (which I love), and the Ridiculous MOUNTAINS of Arugula were lightly dressed and tasty. The Bruschetta was not bruschetta: plain and simple. It was grilled bread. This is NYC, we know better; most places do, by now. For future improvement- please take another look at plate proportions and work on weekend table service. You will Be done as a business if the weekend locals aren’t being well taken care of, or if service is not consistent. Cheers!

Had a nice time with friends here. Good food, good atmosphere, nice service. We ordered a few appetizers: the grilled asparagus, guacamole & pita, mini meatballs, and roasted cauliflower. They were all very good! Especially the pita (it was lovely and warm, we had to have a second round) and the cauliflower (amazing taste and indulgently cheesy)! Lastly, food wise, we had the sweet Italian sausage flatbread which was just ok. If you're in the mood for it, it will satisfy that craving, but not the best. We all had great drinks, too. Personally, I loved the peach mule, but I have a sweet pallet me that can't take much else hahaha. Service was great, outside seating was nice, and all in all, I would like to come back!

Atrocious service.

This place had been our list to visit for some time, mostly due to the drink menu. Showed up at 10pm for drinks. The waiter got very upset when our party did not know what they wanted to drink immediately after being seating. So, he decided to give us a good half hour to think about our drink choices. Generous. We should have read the warning signs and left then. After making a our drink order, the waiter became even more upset that we did not put in a food order. Frankly, I did not think this was a breach of protocol. Nobody else in our area had ordered food either. Forty-five minutes after putting our order in, we started to get impatient. Why did we stay so long? A combination of good conversation and the sink cost fallacy. I asked the waiter when our drink was coming. He told us that since we didn’t order food, our drinks would have to wait. He was absolutely hostile. Wouldn’t even give us more water. Talked to the hostess, and that seemed to purr something. Got our drinks soon after. Drinks were great- really. I had an Enchanted Spell that was a perfect compilation of smoky and sweet.

Pity the service wasn’t even 1/10 as good.

I will...
