Food was ok at this location, but the service was bad. Probably the worst service experience in my life.

Cashier said very passive aggressive things to me because I couldn’t say my order “correctly”. They basically made fun of me in front of my friend about how I was wording my order. My communication skills are not the best. It made me cry honestly.

I don’t want to believe other employees here are as rude as this man who served me, but it soured my experience.

Also, he ask if it’s for here or to go, but right after he asked he said they were closed and pointed to all the chairs that were stacked on the tables. If you are insinuating you are closed 2 hours before the posted closing time, why ask? I don’t get it.

There were also two girls that were there before us who left because he was not taking their order even though there was no one...

Luke’s is always good. You know what you’re getting -always fresh. Believe it or not, the roll I got was the smaller option! Huge succulent chunks of fresh lobster on a toasted buttery never soggy bun.

I treated myself on a miserably hot and particularly stressful day. Now, I work in Rock center so I get a discount- but this bad boy was still 36 dollars. It came with a bag of cape cod kettle cooked salt and vinegar chips and a Saratoga water- but still.. that’s a lot of cheddar.

Is it worth it? Yes. Lobsters thrive in cold northeastern waters, not the Hudson River. So I assume Luke’s has a very expensive daily shipment, airdrop, or Harry Potter Accio/apparate deal to procure the freshest Maine lobstahs.

Anyway, give it a try. I am partial to mayo vs hot butter bc it’s 200 degrees...

My recent experience changed my opinion of this restaurant group. I had been to another location on the east side and had been disappointed with the service. Vowed never to return to this restaurant group, until yesterday. I was craving a lobster roll and decided to give this different location a shot. Thank goodness I was greeted by Shakeem. What a friendly, engaging and professional team member he is. Upsold me on a meal, gave me a discount since I work in the building and all round made my experience great. No waiting and I love friendly service. I hope Luke’s Lobster recognizes they have a great addition to their team. Food was fab and...

It is located in the basement of Rockefeller Center. If you are here for the first time, you may need to spend some time to find the stairs or escalator to the lower level. Tourists must eat lobster burgers when they come to New York. I came during the off-peak hours, so there was no queue and plenty of seats and order Lobster Roll Flight (6oz). Within five minutes after ordering, the enthusiastic staff delivered the food. It was a great dining experience and delicious lobster burger.

We stopped here on a whim after Top of the Rock. It was open late (745pm) on a Wednesday. Wow I am so please we went here. I ordered the Flight of 3 seafood rolls (1 shrimp, 1 crab, 1 lobster) and all 3 were great. Tender meat, moist, the thick cut toast complemented the savory flavor. It came with a drink and chips, just right. Service was great, a friendly man at the counter. The seating area was clean, though not busy. But a nice quick meal after a day of walking.
