I went to Luke’s Lobster years again. I enjoyed it and it stayed with me. I have to say, I was terribly disappointed in what I had tonight. There was nothing special or savory about the lobster roll. It lacked flavor and that buttery goodness. The coleslaw tasted raw, as in it had no flavor. Just vinegar and poppyseeds. The Mac and cheese. Smh. The breadcrumbs was the only thing that gave it texture and body, otherwise it tasted like old soft noodles with some lobster pieces thrown in there. What’s worse is that the drink that came with my combo, the top of it was basically open. I did not feel comfortable or confident drinking it. A complete waste of my $48. The only thing about this order that I’m ok with spending my money on is tipping the delivery person. I will NEVER order...

The cold wind whipped across the New York streets. I had to set down the giant papermache clown head I was carrying and tighten my jacket. As I was about to continue on my journey, I heard a woman's voice call out in Spanish accusing me of being both impotent and a defiler of live stock. I turned and saw her but with two middle fingers blazing she disappeared into the autumn night. It was my ex. Once we had been a storybook, her a glamorous black market organ theif and me a naive danger addicted mountaineer. But now there was only ranker and regret. I, longing for happier times, returned to Luke's, the site of our first encounter. I ordered the Lobster Roll combo. It tasted as devine as I remembered. The lobster so fresh I could hear the echo of a drunken sea chantey in every bite. The smiles of the friendly staff lifted the spirits of a lover jilted. Luke's Lobster always remains a beacon for happier...

Wow. That was really good. Perfect really...hence the 5 star. Mellow was super attentive and friendly and informative. Service was fast. Place was cute too. But, the stars of the show? Wow. That lobster roll, on toasted buttered bun- toasted on the outside but not greasy at all, soft on the inside, loads of fresh lobster with just the right amount of chew to it, warmed with delicious buttery herby deliciousness all over it. No skimping. Followed by free good kettle chips, all for what i think is a pretty fair price. Ok... this place could be dangerous for the diet.
