A Frustrating Experience with the $6 McDouble Special – But Excellent Staff

I recently encountered a couple of issues at a specific location that left me conflicted. When ordering the $6 McDouble Special, I discovered there was no option to upgrade the drink to a large size. This restriction was especially frustrating because the small drink is simply not enough. After just a few sips, you’re left with mostly ice. Anyone who’s tried eating a meal with almost no beverage knows how uncomfortable that can be. Why is this upgrade option unavailable at this location?

Despite this, I’ve been to this location twice, and the one thing that stood out was the quality of the staff. The team here is absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient. They clearly work hard to make sure customers have a good experience. It’s rare to encounter customer service this great, and it’s something I truly appreciate. In fact, I would love to see this same level of care and dedication reflected across all locations.

Unfortunately, despite the excellent staff, the limitations with the drink options and the ongoing issue with paper straws make it difficult for me to keep returning. As much as I value the people working there, I’ve decided to switch to a different location for now.

On the subject of paper straws, I find them impractical. They soften and become unusable far too quickly, and yet no alternative is offered. I challenge anyone to stand by the claim that paper straws are 100% effective. It feels unfair to force customers to use a product that clearly doesn’t work well. Why not provide the option to request a plastic straw? A little choice would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

In summary, while the staff was truly outstanding, the issues with drink upgrades and straw options ultimately overshadowed the positive aspects of my visit. I hope these concerns can be addressed in the future, because the people working there deserve to have their excellent service matched by equally...

Ok now first off I've been going to this McDonald's for approximately 2 years now. Reason being my kids love McDonald's. With that being said the level of customer service here is non-existent. The majority of the time that I go there I'm faced with a bad attitude. Why is that I don't know and I'm so sick of it that I had to leave a review. So sad it had to be a bad one because there is a nice manager there her description is light skin complexion with dreadlocks and she wears a pair of glasses. The fries are stale and they always forget my food wow. Ask for extra bags for my food I'm hit with evil looks and smart comments to the point I have to come out of my good character. I'm truly done with supporting this establishment please refrain from spending your hard earned dollars here. These are trying times and no one needs the added stress and negativity that's already engulfing us at the present moment. At least have some dignity and support a better class of individuals. For too long we've accepted less for our money it's time for change and that starts with this review...

Good evening. I am writing this to inform you that I lwas just in your McDonald's restaurant on Nov 26 2018 at 8:45pm. I received very awful customer service from 2 of your employees. I believe one of them was the floor manager. I placed my order. It took a long time until it was ready. Then the manager threw it up on the counter at me instead of placing it in a bag. Then I asked for a bag and another young woman threw the bag at me. I then asked for napkins and the manager handed me the napkins in a very rude manner. I live 1 block from this particular McDonald's and come in there several times. This was the first time I was treated very rudely as though I was a bother to them instead of a paying customer. This is a problem that seriously be addressed and fixed. A customer is there to be serviced. The customer is not an annoyance. Neither I nor any of my friends and family will ever be coming in again and I plan to inform other folks in the neighborhood about how unprofessional and rude your...
