I visited this restaurant in late October 2021. This restaurant is located towards the back within JACX & CO. Like all other restaurants in the city you must show proof of vaccination to dine indoors. The menu caught my eyes so, I decided to give them a try. The representative was very polite and friendly and answered the questions I had regarding the menu. Once you place your order you are given a buzzer to alert you when you food is ready. I ordered the lunch special which was 2 chicken tacos with the rice and black beans. I decided to eat the food inside. When I took the tacos out the bag they were leaking, they were very watery. It had no taste but they were really spicy. I wish I would have been told about the spicy as I’m not a fan of spicy food. I couldn’t eat the tacos so I put them aside. I decided to try the rice and beans hoping it would be better. The rice was tolerable but again no flavor to it. I was so upset the food wasn’t good, I ended up throwing everything away. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Extremely overprice- haven’t seen prices this high not even in manhattan. Ordered the cheapest thing on the menu which was the grilled chicken wrap- paid 17 dollars for it no drink or sides included (aside from the portion of chips in the picture). Waited a while for my food to be prepared, I’d say around 13-15 minutes (if not more) which wasn’t ideal, I don’t have much time on my lunch break. The food wasn’t bad, the wrap had a good flavor, I liked the sauce used and it had a neat presentation. A bit less sauce would’ve been ideal and there’s a nice pico de gallo inside. Other than the price, probably wouldn’t mind returning but there are definitely Mexican food trucks in the area serving something similar for a better price.

Unfortunately, what I ordered from Mexology was raw in the middle when I got home. I ordered horchata which was okay, but the churros still had batter in the center. I tried to put them in the oven to firm up the batter, but that did not work at all. To charge $6 for a snack that actually made me sick (I took a few bites before feeling the wet center) is preposterous. I've eaten here before and it's overpriced in general, but am assured by this experience never to spend my money here again.

I put an online order and after about 20 minutes, went to see the status of the order in the store (since I order this same meal often and it usually takes about 10 minutes or so). The cashier bluntly just told me the cook wasn’t here so I have to wait. She just ignored me when I asked what was going on. I completely understand when you’re shortstaffed or only one person is working in the kitchen so I get that, but her tone was rude and unnecessary so I decided to cancel. I asked if I could have a refund for the order and she said she’s not able to cancel it. So I ended up just waiting and when the cook came back, the order was finished in about three minutes. I wouldn’t blame the cook since he was the only one working and it seemed like the cashier rushed him. I didn’t appreciate her tone talking to customers. She said “you want it or not?” even though she couldn’t refund me. I ended up taking the order and it was very watery and looked like it been thrown together which is what you’d expect in three minutes preparation time. I’ve ordered here pretty often and always had a pleasant experience. This is the first time I was met with such a hostile attitude just trying to pick up a food order and unfortunately won’t be...
