MMM That's A Wrap — Restaurant in New York

The food was just bad to be honest. The wrap I got was relatively bland and that wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't so overpriced. The expensive shake I got was also un-drinkable. It was 50% seed and skin and, 25% water content from the taste of it and 25% actual fruit juice. The fruit juice combination also didn't compliment each other very well. I would also question whether the girls at the counter properly washed the skin of the fruit before throwing them whole into a blender. First, I'd expect it to be strained in some capacity, or to have the skin removed prior, but since that didn't seem to be the case, I at least hope it was cleaned. But since the cashier girls made it, I suspect they wouldn't know better and probably sold me unclean fruit (though that is presumption only and I do NOT know this as a fact. It is merely a theory based off of the entire meal). The staff was relatively friendly though; nothing too special, but they were attentive as they should have been.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt I had to spare someone from making the same mistake I did today. This was my first time ordering from this place and it will definitely be my last. Even though the worker's were decent, do NOT order their freshly squeezed orange juice. It was piss warm and it didn't taste anything like orange juice. I'm not sure if maybe they didn't properly clean the juicer well or they included the peel, but it tasted really bad. Undrinkable. The pesto chicken wrap was a great portion size but it was so bland. It didn't taste like pesto! It tasted like light oil and vinegar. I don't understand why everything I ordered from this place tasted like something else lol. The wraps fell apart very easily and got soggy really quick. The worst part about this experience was the astronomical cost. Just for a wrap and juice (regular size) it cost a whopping $22. Now, I can take the hit with the cost, but when something tastes bad and costs that much, you literally want to cry....

Their flyer was in my mailbox; some weeks later my mother visited and we were feeling lazy and decided to order. The menu was certainly appealing to us. My mother ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla deluxe with guacamole. We were delighted with the quick delivery time but we were completely surprised at the amount of food that’s provided for the price! The portions are plentiful. It was hot on arrival and absolutely delicious! I’ve ordered several times since then and have always been satisfied.

Today, there was a mix up with my delivery order and not only was the error was corrected, but I received a call from a manager who offered an apology. The degree of customer service that is offered by That’s a Wrap is top notch! It is unusual and most appreciated.
