I always wanted that chinese bbq flavor that I had back in China and Mr. Q's replicates it almost exactly. The skewers are very flavorful and definitely not too expensive. Coming here with 3 other friends can get you guys full with just $100s. I recommend asking for additional spicy powder on the side, and my favorite items are the steak skewer, Chinese rice cake ,bacon mushroom, and the big eggplant (has loads of garlic). The milk tea here are just as good as the boba shops!!

Go to Flushing for a more authentic and affordable experience.

The young woman who helped us was incredibly sweet and friendly, making the experience even better. The place is also very clean and well organized, which adds to the overall comfort. I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this spot because it is so damn good and such a gem. I’ve tried so many bbq skewer spots in Brooklyn and flushing but this place takes the crown. Their skewers are grilled to perfection and the spices are just right. I love the beef, gizzard, and chicken skin skewer the best. The garlic grilled oysters were soooo good too. I came on a Saturday night with my husband and it was so quiet (only one other table). I really hope business picks up soon and more people find out about them so they can stay in business and then I can keep coming!! Highly recommended - run,...

Mr Q BBQ Grill offers a fantastic Chinese skewer BBQ experience. The selection of skewers is impressive—from savory meats to flavorful vegetables, all seasoned just right with bold spices that pack a punch. Everything was grilled to perfection and came out hot and juicy.

The atmosphere is lively and casual, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the service was quick even during busy hours.

This was the worst dinner I've ever had there with my kids. They forced someone else's order on us, saying it was ours. It was the order I hated the most, and we took it. But there was one dish that we just asked the price for, and they made it for us. We had no choice but to pay for it. It was our first time there, but it will also be our last time.
