Tropic Pollo is one of the few restaurants in the area that specializes in "Spanish food" that I've ventured to try. They just seem more inviting with their bright lighting and large windows and were friendly enough for me to order from, not being a Spanish speaker.
My efforts have been rewarded with delicious arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) and fried chicken cutlet with rice, beans, and fried plantain.

I don't like sweet plantains or their cheap arepas. We asked for beans to swap out the aforementioned and it couldn't be done. Every other place I've been to could swap a plate of plantains for beans.. just common courtesy lacks here. Waitress seemed nice, but whoever runs this joint needs to accommodate everyone. Last time around 8pm was showering and dark outside of my home & felt to have some nice Columbian food. They over charged me of saying that the bill is $26.50 but in receipt was $22 & I had to pay $30 with tips.
