A TRUE VEGAN GEM! Each and every dish I have tried here is so delicious! The spinach, the potato & tomato, and the okra dishes are some of my personal favorites, but all are fantastic. They also serve the flakiest potato samosas as well! Also did I mention they have VEGAN NAAN BREAD?! It is a dream. And so affordable. My husband and I are vegan and have eaten at the Long Island City location several times and just recently made it to the Williamsburg location yesterday. Yuvaraaj the owner is honestly the kindest person and is always happy to explain his locations and hours over the phone. He was also so kind to allow us to bring our own reusable containers to avoid the single-use plastic and he even encourages others to do so if they can! Go check out Mysttik Masaala; you will not be disappointed!

Not only was the food 10/10 but the guy running the cart makes it that much better! Tons of options & foods that I had never even heard of, my mind was blown and overwhelmed at the options. He talked with me and my friend about all the foods & let us try a few to figure out what was perfect for us. Honestly nothing was bad & I went with a 50/50 bc I still couldn’t choose. Get extra yogurt sauce, thank me later! Anytime I’m back in Brooklyn I’ll search this dude out it’s just that good!

Expansive menu of almost every North Indian food menu you can think of. The menu tends to get repititive across its different options (think Chicien Tikka masala or Chicken vindaloo versus chicken tikka masala wrap or chicken vindaloo wrap). The service is excellent, the food is good, and the prices are normal nyc prices of about $10 for a wrap and $14 for a plate. It's great for what it is - a no frills Indian food cart but don't come expecting opulence.

If you have a stomach that gets hungry, Mysttik Masaala has delicious food for you. They have such a wide variety of food options that are all delicious based on what I have tried so far. I don’t eat meat, so it is wonderful to have such a variety of items for me to choose from. The samosas are always fresh, flaky, aromatic, and warm. Some restaurants don’t know the difference between spice/heat and spice/flavor but Mysttik Masaala strikes the perfect balance between flavor and heat. To wrap things up, the mango lassi is a perfect addition to every meal: lightly sweet and cooling. Staff is super kind and animated which is great in these hard and socially distant times. To my vegans, vegetarians out there and even people who want to try something new, try the Chana Saag, Chana Masala, or the Palak Paneer. You...

I haven’t eaten a full meal here - tonight, 9/14/20 I was looking for a tasty lamb dish, and for now they don’t serve lamb. The gentleman in the cart was so friendly though - not in a pushy way, just really nice - and he wanted me to taste some of what they serve. He gave me tastes of chicken in two sauces (vindaloo and ??) and spinach with chickpeas (saag chana). The savory spices were all well balanced, the heat was mild as a supporting background for the other flavors (he said they can turn it up on request), and none of the sauces were too heavy with ghee. Everything tasted fresh, even the sauces with the occasional pop of a whole spice seed. I’m looking forward to trying...
