I was excited to come to the store after seeing some reviews online. However, with the way I was treated today I would never go back in the store. The woman working at the cashier did not even acknowledge my presence or my friends when we walked in. She was just looking down at her phone, never asked if we needed help or even made eye contact. I removed my mask for a second to take care of my nine month old daughter, where I was in the corner of the store alone and not near anyone, and although I'm aware you need to wear masks it was an accident. She was so nasty and had such a bad attitude; she should not be working in customer service. The way she asked me to put the mask back on was so rude and uncalled for. She had no sympathy as my baby was crying or the fact I was out shopping trying to support small businesses. I shopped in vintage stores around the whole country and no one has ever had an attitude like she had. I actually really wanted to buy the sunglasses that I put on the counter but I refuse to because of her attitude. Friday...
Read moreI have been shopping at Awoke ever since it opened a couple of years ago and absolutely love their selection of vintage. It's extremely rare to come out of the store without a new piece. The staff are super helpful, friendly and knowledgable about the clothes and always give great styling advice. My all time favorite piece is this black vintage silk kimono I got a while back. They also have a great selection of guys vintage too!
I really like how they have started to stock more cute jewelry (I can't get enough of their midi rings), candles and beauty products from a few local designers. You will always be able to find the perfect gift...

I’d walk one way and she’d start acting like she’s organizing something RIGHT BEHIND ME like girl when I walked in you were chatting it up with your coworker at the cash register. Then I’d walk another way and she’d come directly next to me “fixing” something else. Really cute things in the store! (A little super...
