He then continues to stare at me as if I did something wrong. I order my food, I step outside so all the customers can order because it’s a small space and he walks to the back to talk to his colleagues or fellow cooks, he continues in Mandarin and say and quote” this guy is suspicious”
Then I replied back in the language which they spoken in and thought my understand was limited. I’m not even from New York and just visit in as a professional photographer and documentarian. That was racially motivated to point me out because I’m wearing an eyepatch due to a recent hate crime against me. They don’t even have Apple Pay but they willing to except cash which no one has or should be carrying in the city with all the crying that’s happening. Electronic pay method is much more easy and they should get with the times.
I’m sorry but the food was very disappointed not only that the shrimps were not devein but they were over cooked and hard to eat with the veins still inside the shrimp. They put vegetables in my rice when I specifically said NO VEGETABLES! Its a lunch special so u get a soda with it so the delivery man brings me my food, it was $6.50 btw I gave a $10 bill so he should've given me $3.50 back but decided to give me only $3 but I was nice and still gave him a $2 tip since it's cold out, he leaves and that's when I notice my food was wrong and there wasn't even a soda in the bag, the guy left already so i called the restaurant to complain and the lady had the audacity to ask me why don't I just eat the vegetables!?!? R u fking kidding me lady! First of all I should've been refunded cause that's what good customer service is, and then I had to wait for them to cook it and deliver again and when the delivery man gets here its a different guy, he looks at me as if hes waiting for me to tip him again!!!!!!! by the time I'm eating my lunch break is almost done!! Read moreUpdated because I TOTALLY misunderstood them on the phone. They went out of their way to send an employee to deliver the food to me because the driver didn't come. Amazing customer service, the food is so good even though it's a smidge cold (not their fault at all), and they 100% have earned a repeat customer today. Thank you guys so so much!
Be aware that the phone number on the website is no longer in service; you have to call the number that is listed here on Google. I placed an order for delivery directly from their website, but when I called an hour later, they told me that the Uber driver never arrived, which was a bit confusing because I didn't order through UberEats. I wasn't offered any kind of refund, so I'm going to have to try to contact someone tomorrow, I guess, because I was just being told repeatedly that the Uber driver didn't come and they were now closed. I really wish there was better online ordering and that they were transparent about who would be delivering the order though. They seemed fairly polite over the phone, so I'm trying not to judge too harshly, but there was clearly a communication problem happening...
