Had the strangest experience here. I came around 8:45 am, standard hours. Nothing on their social media saying there would be closure today. The place looked unwelcoming (drapes closed, no lamps or anything on the tables like the pictures show). However, they confirmed they were open. The man at the register said we would have to wait until 9:00 for the barista to come to take drink orders and we could just sit and wait. Strange enough, but okay, I’ll wait, since I planned to work here for an hour. I specifically came for the carrot cake cinnamon bun advertised, and it was not available. After waiting 15 minutes I placed my order for something else. A man came in after me and they quickly told him they were closed for the day. So I essentially had to sit in a closed quiet cafe alone as they’re waiting for me to leave and close up, at 9 am. Incredibly uncomfortable. Separately the regular bun that I did order, which is supposed to be served warm, was cold- and not even given on a plate. They messily threw it in a paper bag with the frosting getting all over it, to hurry me out. I don’t bother to write reviews but felt it was necessary since this place is hyped up on social media for no reason. I was basically rushed out of there when I came out of my way to to try their advertised items and relax for a bit. Didn’t happen. Waste of...

I came here looking forward to eat with my sister and we ordered our coffees and food. I have been here before and loved my experiences. The barista came up to me after I paid to tell me the kitchen closed 15 minutes ago and was said he couldn’t provide me with a receipt when I insisted on receiving the receipt for a refund. He soon provided me with a receipt after rolling his eyes. Once we received our coffees I asked about the pastry and he told me that they didn’t have the pastry and I had to be refunded again. No apology was provided and I had to go back to him to gently let him know that it wasn’t right for me to pay for things they didn’t have and they should have notified me before. The barista was defiant and insisted it was my fault and I should have looked at the pastries and know when the kitchen closed. (???) instead of being apologetic he was defiant and hostile. I’m very sad that I had such a poor...

This cafe has potential for third place vibes as it is a pretty chill environment, but man the employees really do make or break a place. I’ve had somewhat ok encounters until today. Nicki, as an owner you gotta really check on your colorful & curly haired employee at the nomad location. I didn’t catch his name but His attitude and overall lack of professionalism is making you look bad. I made a request for a drink to be iced to which he replied he cannot, which contradicts what other employees have done in the past when I ask for the same drink. Ok, so it can’t be done-I opted for another drink. But I found it quite sad and shocking that he’d mention he’d be fired if he made the drink any other way. Are the employees at Noa cafe truly happy to be consistently expressing themselves this way? he’s not the...

The Crookie is worth the hype!! If you only have time for a one sweet treat in NYC get the Crookie. Even better when it’s warm. I also got the I heart baklava coffee which was fine, but I might try a different one next time. Such a vibe inside too. With a couple of outdoor tables. Edit: I’ve been here 6+ more times. The service is very inconsistent. The drinks are as well. I have had the most lukewarm “hot” coffee and the most watered down chai teas. They’ve been sold out of crookies multiple times. The breakfast burrito does slap though. I’ll keep coming back for the sweet goodness of the crookie and the vibes, but I really hope they can find consistency in the other areas!

Very cute place but not really worth it. Waited around 30mins to get my drinks and didnt get them until i went up to ask. The girl said they were working on it to then call me back and say that it was sitting there for a while.. I also specified at least 3 times i wanted the drinks to stay in glassware and that request was completely dismissed. The drinks themselves were good and not overly sweet but not worth the wait and service. Its a one time thing for me. There are so many trendy and good cafes around that have way better service despite being busy. Try enly if youre looking for similar vibe but want better service and delicious coffee
