A Dessert Lover's Dream Come True! NY Bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the sheer elegance of the place. The atmosphere is sophisticated, clean, and inviting. The dessert selection is mind-boggling, with something to tantalize every taste bud.
We indulged in the divine Godiva chocolate and pumpkin spice cheesecake, a heavenly combination that sent our taste buds into overdrive. The gluten-free options were equally impressive; my daughter couldn't stop raving about the mango mousse, continually repeating, it the best she's ever had! Even my son, who's not much of a sweet tooth, was captivated by the flaky, pistachio croissant.
But the true highlight of our experience was the exceptional service provided by Kald. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel like royalty. It was as if we were staying at the Waldorf, receiving the kind of treatment usually reserved for the elite. Kald's dedication to ensuring our satisfaction was truly remarkable.
In short, NY Bakery offers a five-star experience from start to finish. The desserts are heavenly, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is pure elegance. If you're looking for a bakery that will exceed your expectations, look no further. NY Bakery is the...
Read moreI visited this bakery with my friends specifically to try the Dubai chocolate they advertised, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Upon entering, we were immediately handed these oversized trays for no reason, which felt unnecessary and pushy. Later, I found out that one of the rude employees told my friends that everyone needed a tray just to stay inside—had I known that earlier, I would have walked right out.
When I asked about the chocolate bar, I was shown a ridiculously overpriced $20+ option. Eventually, I was given a smaller bar that still cost around $15, which is outrageous for what they offer. The cashiers had zero personality, didn’t greet customers, and yet the iPad had the nerve to prompt for a tip.
The chocolate fountain looked questionable, and some of the displayed food appeared off and overpriced. After leaving the store, I finally tried the chocolate and was beyond disappointed. Not only was it overpriced, but the filling—the very thing that made me want to try it—was barely there and unevenly distributed. It felt like a total ripoff.
Save your time and money. You’d be better off buying chocolate from Amazon or a store that actually values...
Read moreThey sell frozen, defrosted, and sour dairy. These deserts are not made in house. They come in and they are defrosted. Their “sell by” dates are inaccurate. They sell out of date cakes. Trust me; I know what spoiled dairy tastes like. If you’re a local, you’ll know you can get a cake better for half the price locally. They just serve overpriced expired food for top dollar. They have gaudy decor and water damage on the ceiling of their “prime real estate” location. They serve better confectionery in the hood Brooklyn bakeries. Definitely not Michelin star. Don’t waste your money on this crap. The reviews are fake. I’m a NYer and have seen tourists leave so many of their deserts uneaten at the tables outside of this bakery during the summer. They taste horrible. What’s odd is these deserts look incredible from the outside, but looks are deceiving. Sadly, during the shipping and defrosting process, they loose their original charm. How sad. This isn’t a patisserie. It’s a slightly better Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks, with...
