Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in New York

I don’t even want to give any stars for the service and atmosphere if google allowed.

First, all the reviews regarding terrible customer service is true. The cashier is rude and no hospitality. There was a sign that said “NEW flavor. SPICY lemon pepper”. I ordered this and said “SPICY LEMON PEPPER”, while looking at the sign while speaking with the cashier. Also, I ordered cheese fries and a Philly cheesesteak. After paying, and getting my receipt, it shows that my wings came with fries.

I talked with the cashier again that I didn’t want any fries and he didn’t specify that it came with fries. He answered “all wings comes with fries”.

Yes, he is correct cause the MENU states all wings comes with fries. But I wasn’t looking at the menu when I ordered. I was looking at the sign that only showed a picture of the new flavor wings.

I was pretty annoyed cause if he had any sense or even slight good customer service you would let the customer know that the wings comes with fries AFTER I ordered the extra side of fries. I’ve worked in fast food and this happens quite often. 98% of the time, customers didn’t know and will cancel the extra side after being INFORMED.

Terrible customer service, cheesesteaks were blah. I’ll come here only for the wings but with terrible customer service, I don’t want to come back here at all. KFC closed down, it should’ve...

Charley’s Philly Steaks is okay. The steak/ chicken sandwiches are tasty. The staff is okay. The person who has the worst attitude is the manager.He is a little “stand off - ish”. Ive eaten there three times and noticed his conduct. He’d want to serve one person and the other he gives a little attitude.The only reason I’ve ordered there today was because he wasn’t doing orders at the register .If he is there I just keep it moving and order somewhere else. Now, that is bad for me to react this way !Moving forward the only thing I need to maintain is my blood pressure because sometimes the meat or sauce or what ever they put on the hoagie/ sandwich is salty. One of their highlights is the French fries with cheese sauce. I’ve never tried it but I noticed a lot of people ordering it. The outside of the food chain where the customers order gets really dirty at times . The floors are murky and the condiments needs wiping down sometimes. I mean who’d really want to eat from there unless they were craving the taste from the food. The fast food restaurant seems to be the “weekend spot” but not mines ! I rate Charley’s Philly Steak a 2 out of 5. They should pull it together because it’s a business, not only that but a food business. I have no comment for recommendations , just someone please inform OSHA or mystery...

So this happened today, Went to get a uber order pick up for myself. Went and showed my name they said its not ready yet when uber told me its ready to pick up. Okay no problem I waited another 8/10 min, suddenly the guy is like “Yooo the line for pickup is there.” (Rude behavior). Mind you I ordered the food for myself. The sign is so small that you can’t really see without focusing properly. My question is so me being a walking customer who ordered from the app gets treated like that what happens to the DELIVERY DRIVERS very shameful. No matter how busy you are no one gives you the right to treat anyone with ignorance. Also he goes to the screen takes a picture of my info in his personal phone. When i asked him why did you do that “He is like oh we do it for every order”. So i waited to see if did it for other orders too but No it was just my order. That’s shouldn’t be happening.
