One of the standout dishes is the Seafood Teriyaki, a flavorful masterpiece. The fish is perfectly cooked, tender, and succulent, complemented by a rich, savory teriyaki glaze that adds just the right amount of sweetness. The balance of flavors in this dish is remarkable, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.
The Hawaiian Island (Chef Appetizer) is a true delight. It brings the fresh, tropical flavors of the islands to your plate with a beautiful combination of raw fish, fruits, and a tangy sauce that hits all the right notes. It’s both refreshing and exciting for your taste buds, with each bite offering a burst of freshness.
Another unforgettable appetizer is the Salmon Pizza (Chef Appetizer). This innovative dish is an explosion of textures and flavors, with crispy, thin crust topped with silky-smooth salmon, a drizzle of creamy sauce, and the perfect amount of seasoning. It’s unlike anything you’ve had before, and the combination of creamy, savory, and crispy elements is a perfect fusion.

Read moreI have been a customer of Omiya Sushi for more than 15 years. If it was a sushi choice for a family gathering, we didn't look any further, we went to Omiya or ordered in. The freshest rolls, sushi and sashimi, the most beautiful trays of party platters, the most delicious combinations, and for a good price. Yesterday, we picked up our order on the way home, to Staten Island ( the inside dining is not available). I paid more than $100 for my order. And yesterday for the first time I have been disappointed with the quality of food. They wouldn't let me choose the fish for sashimi, although I have always been able to do that before. I should have insisted, but OK, I did not. So out of 20 pieces of sashimi I got 4 pieces of "egg". I did not even know what it was until I called them. Since when egg is fish? And is it fair to sell egg at the price of the restaurant grade fish ment for sushi or sashimi? The miso soup I ordered was anything but miso soup. It tasted like sweet water and looked nothing like miso soup . So I called the place. They did not offer me money back. They apologized and told me next time they would give me free soup and 4 pieces of sashimi. The only problem is, i am not sure when that next time is going to happen if ever, and I will not remember that they owe me that. THEY themselves may not even remember about that. And my evening yesterday was...
Read moreI love everything about this restaurant. The owner is a great guy. I had many great conversations with him when he used to be there day-to-day. The staff that are running things now are very friendly and professional. You will find yourself stopping by just to say hello... and then you will order lots of food. 😋
You will be happy with any meal you order. Presentation on the plate is beautiful. The prices are great. Dining-in gets you a seat in a cozy, clean space that can accommodate many groups. The chefs prepare meals right in front of you from behind a clear screen. You can watch them put together your meal and they get to watch you drool in return, I guess.
Don't forget to take a look up on the wall when you enter. There is a nice assortment of sake for you to choose from. They run from low prices to some very expensive ones. There are also some interesting decorations all around that add to the...
