Maybe the most magical experience of my gelato eating life. Not only was the chocolate absolutely delicious. Happened to that they didn’t have enough for a cup. And I’m such a chocolate fanatic, I didn’t want anything else. I was like it’s okay I’ll pay for how much ever of the cup you can fill. She filled the cup basically full but she REFUSED to charge me. I was SHOCKED and embarrassed. I didn’t know what to do or where to go. It was too overwhelming. I was having a tough day, and it was such a gesture of kindness, so overwhelming.
As I left the shop enjoying the cup, she suddenly came running outside the shop screaming we got MORE we got MORE. So I ran back, and she gave me a full cup. So now I had 1.8 cups of ice cream when I only was expecting 0.5 cups. AND SHE STILL DIDNT CHARGE ME. WHAT SORCERY WAS SHE PULLING ON ME I DONT KNOW. It was so magical, and I was so thankful. It’s my first review ever. A once in a...
Read moreThis place is incredible! First, let’s start with the ambience. They took over the space of a really boring gift shop and somehow transformed it to an Italian paradise. Incredible lamps hanging from the ceiling that must be imported from italy . Adorable decor. Not only is the space lovely but the people working there are so nice! They have so many unusual flavors and the server didn’t mind that I chose to try 3. Each flavor better than the last. Apple and Rosemary was one of the best! I also loved the tomato and olive oil but I settled for a more classic pistachio and was definitely not disappointed. Having tried gelato in at least 100 gelaterias jn italy I can attest this is one of the best I have ever been to. In a city filled with chain, mass produced gelato this homemade, unique shop is...

A quick look around showed nearly everyone was still buying a small: we care more about the price and our waistlines, it turns out. So in the end, the business makes the same amount of money, but all the customers get a worse experience, because only those willing to pay $9 for a too-big cup of ice cream are worthy of the delights of getting a second flavor. I am disappointed, but...
