My friends and I had an amazing time at Peaches Prime last night!! We ended up there after a performance at BRIC, right across the street. We were out celebrating my bestie's birthday and they helped make it an extra special night! Everyone, from our server Guiseppe to co-owners, Craig and Damian. (spelling?🤷🏽‍♀️) was incredibly gracious and accommodating! 🥰🥰 The entire meal was delicious, with the surprise fave being the stoneground grit fritters; they weren't even on the menu, apparently it's a brunch item, but after they comped us each one to start, we asked if we could order more! Had I know the head chef from Peaches Shrimp & Crab was in the buildin' I would have ordered my go-to fried whiting sandwich, 😋😋 but I'm glad I had the opportunity to try some other things. We started with the sweet potato soup...sweet, creamy and delicious, and it just got better from there... fresh oysters, grilled octopus, spicy pasta, were all well prepared and flavorful! 😋 We laughed, ate and talked till just past 11, not realizing they close at 10, because we never felt rushed. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I rarely take the time to write reviews, but after the way we were treated, and the incredible meal we had, I could not NOT write a...

I love the Peaches franchise which is why I was excited when a friend invited me here for my birthday dinner with lots of gluten free options for me!

Yuck! Overcooked octopus, chewy and dry, same for the short ribs - braised? Nah. I tasted my friend's shrimp, flavorless. The grits, a Peaches staple and always delicious, not here - salty and runny. So disappointing. Maybe it was an off night for the chef based on others' reviews. It may be because we were so psyched to eat at a Peaches but no matter, the food was just not good. The waitress told me she "hadn't heard that before" and mentioned that this Peaches is an "upscale" restaurant. I am unsure what that has to do with bad food but ok. To be fair, and to make sure we weren't losing our minds (and that our pallates weren't distorted somehow) I asked other diners what their experience was - the same. A shrug of the shoulders - "just ok" and another saying she could've gotten better food at the street vendor up the street. The drinks were delish! I may try again, just because Peaches has always brought me joy and wonderful dining experiences with delicious food I brag about. However, last night, horrible...

What a cool restaurant we stumbled upon it by accident while doing errands in the neighborhood. The decor is really good. It feels both casual and upscale at the same time somehow. We wanted to go to the Gotham market, but didn’t realize it had already closed down. I really liked the steak and eggs. I think the 7 ounce standard price is plenty of steak if anyone is wondering The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as I requested my wife liked her fish sandwich but the only complaint that we had about it was they give you two huge pieces of fried fish and it basically comes as an open faced sandwich so it’s more like getting a fish and chips plate that you can turn into a sandwich as an option. The service was prompt, and the food came out fairly quickly. The seating is really comfortable and there’s a ton of seating options. They had a highchair for our baby which we appreciated. Don’t really have too many negative things to say at all and we are looking forward to coming back to try some...

All-in all an amazing experience. My girlfriend and I were attending an evening show at BAM which is conveniently located across the street. We decided to splurge on a nice dinner and Peaches Prime delivered exactly that. Visiting on a Friday, we were pleasantly surprised to visit during Happy Hour which meant a few apps and drinks were $8. Although pricing of entrees is on par with many other restaurants in the area, portion sizes were generous. For appetizers we got the Salmon Tartare and the Oysters - both dishes bejng incredibly fresh and the Oysters in particular being very meaty. The oxtail fettuccine also had a generous amount of meat sauce. The fish and chips were ok, but I didn't find value in paying extra for the shrimp. We completed the meal with a Blueberry Compote Vanilla cake. Service throughout the whole experience was professional, attentive and playful which was much enjoyed!

Stopped by for dinner before seeing my favorite band finally perform in the US for the first time in over a decade. Everything was just peachy (haha, get it?). The Broiled Lemon Sole came with so many plump, juicy pieces of crab in its spicy crab butter that I was afraid we'd ordered the wrong dish. The signature Oxtail Fettuccine was as umami, hearty and succulent as one could hope for, while our side of Whipped Potatoes was classic comfort. Even the Pound Cake with blueberries and whipped cream that we...pounded back (haha)...came perfectly warm and comforting. Restaurants like these that offer bistro-quality fare at izakaya-level prices are increasingly rare in NYC. That one should have such ample seating, beautiful decor and close proximity to a popular venue is even rarer. Color me happy. Or maybe that's just the afterglow of seeing the best band in the world tear down Brooklyn.
