Whatever Forever — Restaurant in New York

Pros: We arrived at the location without a reservation, as we were told by a co-worker that the vibe was nice. I must admit, from a decor standpoint, it was definitely on point and I guess we came through too early, so we did not get the DJ experience. Our waitress was very attentive and checked in on us to make sure we were good, seemed a bit shy, but we loved her attentiveness!

Con: It was not really packed and there was a couch to the left of us, where a couple picked up and left from, so I asked the host if we could move our seat there and she was like no, with an attitude. Aight cool, not tripping being we were walk-ins and all..., but it was a hard work week and my wife and I were looking forward to our drinks. We were very disappointed to say the least. I had the " Smashed Mule" and she had the "Forever Margarita" and they both were the worse. It was a watered down, no-kinda-effect whatsoever tasting drink we both ever had, but at least the food was good. I know some establishments would be a little frugal with their alcohol, but damn, especially with inflation being in effect and all. Maybe one day, we'll visit again, but Happy Hour was not a good...

Before I share my experience I just want to remind everyone how desperate the restaurant industry was for business just a year ago.

Well I guess we’re post pandemic because the people with the titles at these establishments have forgot the position they were in.

The nonchalant manager Gio is a decent guy, but he literally had me wait outside for 5 minutes until they opened (even tho the doors were unlocked and open to the public) just to tell me I virtually couldn’t order anything unless it was brunch even tho they have 3 different menus that they make readily available to customer. I didn’t give him a hard time at all but I asked could I at least have chips and salsa to which he responds “as I said the taco bar doesn’t open until 12pm”

The issue I have with this is the “smash burger” side doesn’t open until 12 either but they were willing to make a burger I don’t understand why make things so difficult to spend my money but hey I guess he wants me to save more so...

Not a good experience my first time visiting here. The atmosphere was nice I went on a Wednesday evening with a group of Co-Workers, I ordered from Taco Taco a Quesadilla w/ Shrimp it was a large portion so I took my time eating. When I got to my last piece I bit into it and chewed an experienced a hard object immediately thinking maybe it was a piece of shell of a shrimp, I tried to pull it out my mouth which was discomforting and discovered it was a “Twist Tie” which I might add has steel in it. I called a nearby waiter over and explained he then took my plate and showed the manager and I saw them walk to the back. The manager returned moments later and went back to what he was doing and the waiter informed me that they were going to make it again. I understand mistakes happen I think I was more so bothered that the manager acted as if that was a normal occurrence not once did anyone ask if I was okay even though I just chewed on a piece of steel in...
