Either this place is getting better or I'm getting used to it. Previously rated 2 stars but had a good time last night so bumping up to 4. Day bartender was polite but seemed to not want to be bothered. However, caught him at the end of his shift, so I kinda get it. Night bartender Dylan came in, and he was much more congenial. Changed the whole vibe of the place! Pool table in back is a little wonky, tho. Not level, pockets are damaged, and cue ball is huge and heavy, but seemed to be...

One star for one reason only: the bartender. This tattooed guy rudely demands for our IDs, only has two taps available, proceeds to pour the sloppiest, foamiest, bubbly Guinness of all time, then personally confronts us for not tipping. What a jerk - saw him being cross with people just trying to have fun at billiards. The one thing holding back this okay bar from being...

Reif's is a neighborhood bar on the UES where everyone makes you feel welcome. All of the bartenders are friendly. One thing that sets it apart from some of the nearby bars is they have a patio out back with grills and you can bring your own meat to grill!
