š„Æš„Æš„Æ My favorite bagels in the city, by far! š„Æš„Æš„Æ
I moved to LIC 2 years ago, and I couldn't believe what a hidden gem this neighborhood is: Trader Joe's, Teso, Ai Mart, ABC Eats (now closed, sadly), and so many food trucks sprinkled from Court Square to the Gantry that together made life so convenient and enjoyable here.
The only thing that was missing, for me, was a really good and affordable bagel spot close to my place. Lucky for me--and only a few months later--Rollin' set up shop by the subway station on my way to work. YUMMY, YUMMY bagels (my reco's at the end) At the time, it was just the owner Quentin himselfābut after 2 years, Rollin' has really become a neighborhood staple and point-of-pride, because the bagels are delicious and his staff is always friendly.
Note: Rollin' is at the Gantry on weekends!
If you're live in the neighborhood, you owe it to yourself to try Rollin'. Here are my personal faves: Scallion cream cheese on a sesame bagel Egg and cheese on literally any bagel, but even their plain bagel is amazing Lox on an everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLook, Iām not even kidding, I go here a lot. It started off as a friendās recommendation, and now itās a non-negotiable anytime Iām in LIC (which to be honest is a lot ahaha) Weāre talkinā 2 years strong. Q and his team at Rollin Bagels? Always deliver.
Itās no surprise that weekend mornings thereās already a line at Hunters Point. Hell even on weekdays at Skyline, getting everyoneās ordered right before going to work. Theyāve created not just amazing bagels, theyāve created a community. Anytime friends or family visit, Rollin is a must.
From the bagels to the hospitality to the vibe, itās always one of my go-to spots. And if you know me, I donāt write reviews unless a place leaves a mark. So yeah⦠I donāt know what took me so long to write this.
Trust me; go to Rollin Bagels. And donāt judge me for how many photos Iāve taken of my bagels. Q and the team? Theyāve got something really special here. Thanks for the consistent good vibes and catching up on life, yāall are truly the best....

After a Saturday afternoon dog walk by the waterfront park, my partner and I were craving bagels and there was Rollinā Bagels, right outside. My partnerās a regular, but this was my first visit to the truck.
First thing I noticed was the owner's pleasant demeanor, even with a midday line at both his cart and the nearby coffee cart. For each customer he had a genuine smile and didn't give us attitude for taking a bit of time to order. He was so chill. The people behind us were also chill. The bagel sandwiches hit the spot every single time.
I'd recently tried Utopia bagels too, and while they were also tasty, the eat-in experience was super chaotic. It was opening weekend so it makes sense, but the whole Saturday morning, dog walking, bagel experience was way different with Rollin' Bagels, more serene, leisurely, bagels with a smile.
Also-- having the cart right outside Court Square metro on the weekdays is a...
