Roma Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I don't know if the last 3 reviews are from competing pizza places or if they ate at a different prince pizza, but I grew up on this block and ate prince of pizza my whole life- when it was owned by old owner / Dominic (possibly had business partner/other owner) and even after he sold it to new owner , whom I don't know but kept it going. This place has the best pizza and has not changed since change of ownership. The baked ziti is so amazing and the chicken roll is soo good. I love their sauce. The only thing that has changed since ownership is that the new owner expanded the menu with more options and the store itself had renovation and the name is prince pizza and used to be prince OF pizza. And if you know this, you grew up around this neighborhood. Never had bad food ever, even late at night so I'm convinced that the last 3 people ( who wrote 1 star reviews)are from different competition / place. Took a few pies from there .pizza like pizza maybe a little above the usual hole in the wall . I’m not comparing it to l and b or deffara. But for my 6’year old , it was excellent . However last time I got their special pie wings and soda. First he didn’t have the soda I wanted , ok whatever . But when I got home and opened the pie I saw bathe pizza being darker than usual and had spice on it (oregano). My child noticed right away ., I had to have her out permanent on top so she won’t taste as much . I called immediately and the guys answer was “ most pizzerias put oregano in their sauce, but I put it on top of the pizza” I told him why would you do that because before you never did that and he replied next time just say I want a regular pizza with oregano. Such a spice like oregano or thyme, or any of those shrunk spices have to be put in in a correct way, so the person doesn’t feel it as much, but it will still bring out the flavor of whatever you are doing if I wanted oregano on my pizza, I would’ve taken a packet and I would’ve Spilled it on my pizza. WE MISS PRINCE OF PIZZA !!!!! Living in this area my Italian family 50+ yrs. I ordered from this place tonight a hero asked please DONOT PUT CHEESE (my kid is allergic) then I ordered chicken wings EVERYTHING WENT IN THE GARBAGE $33 later we did not eat tonight btw. The wings ALL OF THEM were burnt....tasted like they been fried in days old oil DISGUSTING !!! The hero sandwich was burnt when I specifically asked cooked light no cheese couldn't even chew it. Even the can of soda wasnt rite. Came warm but that can be fixed with ice rite? (I do not like ice in my coke cola) . Just a disaster!
