I had a disappointing experience with Saint Resto Lounge while trying to celebrate my partner’s birthday. I made a reservation three weeks in advance for a party of six and I called to adjust the date and to include three more guests immediately after making the reservation. After my initial call, I was informed that I needed to speak with a manager and provide a deposit, which I was ready and willing to do without even speaking to a manager. Unfortunately, my attempts to follow up over two weeks went unanswered. I even had guests reach out on my behalf, but they received no response either. Just three days before the celebration, I received a generic email asking for a deposit and directing me to only text James. I contacted James immediately after receiving the email and never got an answer until I sent a second message. After several calls, I spoke with Brittany last night who promised to check with her manager but failed to follow through. Despite my repeated efforts, I received no apologies for the lack of communication or the inconvenience caused. I instead got messages from James stating that they receive a plethora of reservation request and that he can accommodate me on a date that I was not requesting. No genuine sincere apology or anything. It seems I’m not alone in this experience, as reflected in other reviews. I had hoped for a memorable celebration, but this ordeal has left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. I could’ve pulled strings, as I am in the industry, but I’d rather inform the same people who referred me—and more—that, although this restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, it is not worth their time.

I had an incredibly disappointing and borderline humiliating experience at SAINT that speaks volumes about how this establishment is run—especially at the door. I showed up wearing proper trousers (not sweatpants), only to be denied entry by the male door host who falsely claimed I was in violation of their dress code. I was the only person in line, yet I stood there for over a minute while he and the host casually laughed, used profanity, and scrolled through their phones mid-conversation—completely ignoring me. When he finally acknowledged me, it was with sarcasm, a dismissive tone, and zero professionalism. He seemed more interested in arguing than listening, snarling at me like he got off on the power trip of deciding someone’s night. I didn’t want to continue being degraded or get baited into “begging” for entry, so I left. Their own Instagram features people inside the venue wearing hats, shorts, and sneakers—all violations of the same dress code I was denied entry over. This wasn’t about policy—it was about selective enforcement and ego. If you’re going to run a venue that prides itself on exclusivity and fashion standards, your staff needs to reflect that in both their own attitude and consistency. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s clear the host cared more about exerting control than offering hospitality. SAINT needs to seriously reconsider who they put at the front lines of their brand—because no brunch, no ambiance, and no lounge vibe is worth being disrespected before you even walk in the door.

Wonderful place! I came to Saint to celebrate my birthday last week.. Virgo season 👌🏾. I had a 7pm reservation on a Sunday and it was not packed at all. It’s not a huge spot, but the atmosphere is on point, my kind of vibe. The staff overall had great energy, but I have to be real: the security threw me off. Like most “security” in NYC, he gave more nightclub than restaurant — straight face, no greeting, strict tone, zero warmth. As the first impression, it felt like I was walking into the Federal Reserve instead of a place to eat. Thankfully, seconds later a lovely host floated out with a flawless smile and great energy — total day and night difference. From there, the night was smooth sailing. The food was delicious and the drinks were top tier. I loved that it wasn’t too loud or flashy, but still upscale and quaint at the same time. We had the lobster rolls, mac & cheese (super cheesy and perfectly seasoned), chicken sliders (flavorful with the right spicy kick), and cauliflower wings (surprisingly fire). My Hennessy lemonade was bomb too — wish I had snapped a pic. Overall, I’ll definitely be back to Saint. But I’ll say this at 7 p.m., most folks walking through those doors aren’t here to start trouble, they’re here to have dinner, celebrate, or just enjoy themselves. A softer touch and a little customer service from security would MATCH the energy of the restaurant and other workers so much better.

SMOKING MIRRORS!! Whoever their media content person is does AMAZING work because what’s posted on IG and shown in reels is BULLSHIT!!!!!!! First: reservations were made over a week prior to my friends and I going. We were here last Saturday. It was myself and 2 other ladies. They sat us LITERALLY in front of the DJ which is also right in front of the kitchen and bathroom. It was tiny table that could barely fit 2 people. Immediately I said NO I did not make a last minute reservation this looks like you just found a table and put it right in a spot that CLEARLY should not be blocked ESPECIALLY directly in front of the kitchen doors that swing OPEN TOWARD US 🙄 Second: Reservations were for 8;30pm I arrived at 8:43pm. After being seated at a new table we were switched waitress 3 times and we didn’t even order a drink yet. Finally a waitress came said she was not our waitress but will start us off with drinks. Right after that we asked for hookah and the gentleman came over with a list. Less than 20 mins after that our hookah arrived. At that point we were still waiting for our drinks so the hookah came before the drinks. Once the drinks arrived we asked to order food. We ordered the mac and cheese (TRASH just a pot of boiled cheese no pasta whatsoever) I ordered the Korean tostadas (TRASH has a very nasty taste and the meat was cold) shrimp skewers (immediately you can tell they were frozen from a supermarket) ceviche (taste good but not what’s advertised. Very tiny bowl with about 10 tortilla chips) and the lasagna bolognese (EXTRAAAAA TRASH taste like all they did was pour sauce out of a can, boil it down and put pepper flakes) pasta was mush. It is now after 10PM!!! And still no food not even the COLD CEVICHE appetizer came out. Finally the food comes and it’s the Mac n cheese and Korean tostadas. Then 5 mins went by and where is the rest of my food lol. We ask the waitress (now a different waitress) where is the rest of our food and she sends out the lasagna. STILL NO CEVICHE which is an appetizer and no shrimp skewers. SMH After receiving our food and as we’re eating we are then told it’s a 90 minute sitting and we have 10 mins. I made it very clear that I am not getting up to leave if I’m still eating and drinking not to mention we JUST GOT OUR food and waited an hour. We also paid for the $75 hookah that the gentleman stated will last us 90 mins. Third and lastly: at this point we are beyond disappointed and disgusted but the drinks and hookah were decent. So we ordered another drink and they cleared the table. I asked that the lasagna be taken off the bill because it was just pure disgusting and the sauce tasted burnt. The waitress then came and gave us our total but no bill to show me what I’m paying for. I asked to see the bill and she said I can use her work reader thing to see it. The lasagna was STILL on the bill and I asked once again to please remove it. She came back we paid the bill she walked away. Then our drinks came. IMMEDIATELY after the drinks coming the hostess at the front comes over and says you have 10mins. My friend then at that point was beyond pissed and asked to speak with a manager. A tall light skin gentleman comes over. He’s speaking with my friend and I look up and there is a random woman who does not work there standing behind my other friend alllll in our business and LITERALLY listening and watching. I asked who she was and she said she’s hanging out with the manager. So now I have the manager at our table to assist in an issue and he brings his friend with him VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The hostess was still close by and for whatever reason she goes and gets another gentleman. Mind you my friend and the manager are speaking, me and my other friend are saying nothing while they speak. I then IMMEDIATELY become nervous. Why are 2 men approaching us and nothing but a conversation was being had. I felt as if they were trying to intimidate me, make me feel threatened so I then say let me call my husband because now I...

I’ve been to Saint for girls nights, date nights, always a vibe. I chose to do my 20th anniversary at the restaurant this past weekend and it was nothing short of EVERYTHING! I connected with James to book my resy back in November, and then corresponded with Amber the month of to solidify details for my event. It was at 3pm and they let my family come an hour early to set up tables. Tia, my server for the evening was hanging up banners when I walked in. She was the star of my evening, she always helped me and did it with a smile if I could’ve tipped her 50% I would’ve! She was so deserving! . It was not a full buy out but it surely felt like it! My party was 30 people, they usually do 20max for brunch but James was kind enough to extend my reservation to 25. The extra 5 people booked their own table the week of and were sat close by my party. From the walk in, where all of my guests who came in one after the other, and were greeted with Champagne flutes, so as they walked to the table it already looked and felt celebratory! They had hookahs so we bought 4, the food was served family style but the full ala carte menu was still available. I had Tia as my waitress, she was AMAZING! From start to finish, so sweet so kind and very respectful. Catered to me, my husband, and all of my guests as if they were a table of one . She was my only waitress, sometimes with Cree assisting her, another waitress who had her own tables but would help when called or asked if as well. Tia, servicing 25 people who are consuming lots of alcohol isn’t easy. But she made it seem as so. I barely ate as a host with my husband, so Tia made sure to pack to gos for us of almost every dish that was served. All of my guests had Don Julio margarita carafes.. and off the tables were served with different flavor mimosas. The music was smooth R& B all the way through brunch so my tables were singing old tunes like Weak by SWV and I Miss You by Monifah. Jonathan the manager, came in about 30min into my resy. He worked with every request I had, he stayed on top of everything as there were many moving pieces and even let my mom take the mic and give a toast, which was to announce my elopement. It was so special, it which seemed like the whole restaurant joined in and raised a glass and clapped for the newlyweds. It was truly beautiful. I’m smiling as I recount the event, the food was plated beautifully, all of my guests went home with to go bags because there was so much left of different items. They even brought out a coat rack so guests didn’t have to sit with their outerwear in seats. The ambiance, the food, the people, the vibes, the hospitality is truly a 10/10. The drinks are strong as hell and still taste amazing. This is a place full of pretty people! Down to the bartenders, everyone is easy on the eyes. If you’re looking to do an event here for more than 8ppl, I would suggest booking at least 2 months in advance to allow for correspondence as this is one of NYs hottest new trendy spots. The photographer Cheef was also super kind and helpful. He even gave my husband a downloadable link for all the photos he took of us during our brunch party. I am still replaying this event in my head. Just awesome, Thanks so much to the people at Saint for helping create such a memorable experience for my family...

I recently attended Saint Resto-Lounge and my overall experience was a 7/10. When I first walked to the door there was a man at the door that asked me about my reservation and was somewhat hesitant on letting me in. After him checking my ID he then let me in and told me to check in with the hostess.

After checking in with the hostess me and my friends were walked to the table but I was not greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco but they were. I also felt that there were to many employees to experience upon entry to check a guest in, it should have been a smoother transition.

After finally being seated we scanned the QR code and looked at the menu. The menu was limited so I think that can be expanded a little more. Our first order of food came out in a timely manner but then our second order of food took a little longer than expected, not sure why as it was only two order of fries. When we sat down our server greeted us immediately but I couldn't really hear her and she couldn't hear us due to the music being very loud. After we received our food and drinks we then wanted to wrap up but she disappeared for a short period of time, so there was a wait to pay.

Before we paid and left, my friend went to use the men's rooms and he said the men's room was aesthetically pleasing and very clean but it had this ovenlike temperature that was very over powering.

As the night started to wine down and we were done eating my friend inquired about the price of the hookah because we saw a few young men walking around with the coals and other supplies. The young man informed us that the hookah was $60 for hookah (non flavored) and $75 for the flavored choice. In my past experience of enjoying hookah at a restaurant that was a bit steep and I have been to several hookah lounges. After having that conversation and paying the bill, we then were greeted by the hostess who informed us they had a 90 minute allotted time for guests to be at the tables, which was not a issue but we would've like that information prior to our dine in experience rather than later or at the end.

Overall my experience wasn't horrible but it could've been better. I was very excited to dine here and my bubble was bursted and I know that the lounge just opened and they're trying to get their rhythm so hopefully these things will be taken into...
