Last night, around 9 PM, I went to Target. I was looking for an item but couldn’t find it. I asked Louis, the Target Manager, very politely: “Hi, how are you? I’m looking for this item, but I can’t find it. Could you please help me?” He looked me up and down and then said, “Go over there.” I told him, “I’ve already been there.” He responded, “Go again, open your eyes and look one by one.” I explained that there were a lot of boxes, but I didn’t want to argue, so I went back and looked again. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t find it, so I went back to Louis and said, “Please help me; I’m a customer, and you’re supposed to help people.” He replied, “You’re not a customer, you’re just a delivery guy. Why should I help you? Go, go, go,” while waving his hand at me as though I were a dog. I asked, “Can I speak with your manager, please?” He laughed at me and said, “My name is Louis, I’m the Target Manager. Who are you? You’re just a delivery guy.” He and a short Spanish man with glasses laughed at me. Louis said I don't understand what do you said, bla.. blaa... blaaa... I understand my English not good, different with him. Because his born here. My question is: yes, I’m a delivery guy, but does that mean I don’t deserve respect? I felt disrespected and experienced what seemed to be racism. Louis then told me, “If you keep talking to me, I, as a Target Manager, can report you, and you won’t be able to work as a delivery guy anymore.” It felt like Louis was abusing his power as a Target Manager. I hope Target can improve its customer service.

I was recently in this store and had 2 items to return. I went to register 1 and had Gloria immediately start barking at me that the receipt numbers were faded. I tried to say it was fine if I couldn't return as they were not expensive items, but sadly I only got oit a few words before she cut me off. She continued her loud, barky babble. Finally near the end, I asked what her name was because she did not have on a name tag. She told me and then put it on. Then she immediately said things like, "I'm here to help everyone" and "I'm always helpful" sorry...too late. Spoke to the manager who was very kind & offered me a gift card, I told him thank you, but declined telling him he could give it to Gloria & let her know to relax a little. Store is nice, but it's small so doesn't have everything you may need.

HORRIBLE!!!empty shelves nothing is stocked and the aisles are filled with stocking carts that aren’t being unloaded often blocking entire walk ways. (See photos) the first floor is taken up almost entirely by womens clothing which is a huge waste of space in such a small format store. Also! All the hygienic basics toothpaste body wash ect are locked up in a vault like case as if it’s valuable electronics with no staff around to help open them. I finally found one person to try and let me into a case to buy toothpaste and they didn’t have a key and never helped me! I ended up going to the grocery store instead. Save your time and go to Walgreens or rite aid. This target is a joke and a poor representation of the company. It needs changed ASAP.

I am target lover. I love target and when I heard there was a target opening in Hell’s Kitchen I was thrilled. However, this specific target is a disappointment. Every trip I make there’s always someone shoplifting. Yes that’s common anywhere , however , you have security guards for a reason. Everytime i Look the guards are too busy chit chatting In a group with employees at the front instead of guarding the place and see who comes in and out of the store. I know how it works because I’ve worked retails for many years but come act like you care at least..

But the biggest concern about this place …. the shelves are ALWAYS COMPLETELY EMPTY and I really mean ALWAYS EMPTY It seems like they receive two trucks a day but I don’t know how a store can still look this empty.. like who is in charge of ordering merchandise?! How can a store in Hell’s Kitchen be this empty. there’s never enough daily essentials like milk, water, meat etc.. ORDER MORE.. Worst target I have ever put a foot in. Yes is convenient and the prices are better than other stores but MANAGEMENT PLEASE GET...

The staff at this location was honestly disappointing. I came to the register to buy non-alcoholic beer (NA), and they refused to sell it without a physical ID. I’m 37 years old and clearly not underage — I don’t think anyone would seriously question that.

In most stores, the cashier just enters your birthdate or simply confirms your age verbally — which I fully understand. But here, they refused to accept even a photo of my ID, and made it feel like a power move rather than a policy.

The attitude was what really made this unpleasant. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to explain or handle it respectfully. It felt like a “show it or get out” situation — zero flexibility, zero courtesy.

I used to love this store and come here often. I never thought I’d leave a one-star review, but after today, I can’t...
