I was looking for a new nail spot after I refused to go to my one spot and was very happy! Walked in for a dip powder manicure and they did it right away. I went midday during the week. My techs name was Cici which is also my nickname so I knew it was a good sign! š. My nails turned out great! She took her time and was precise with shaping and didnāt rush(which my last nail salon did). Even, I believe was the owner, checked my nails before my departure and cleaned up which I thought was awesome and great attention to detail. Pretty average price paid about $65 including tip, and thereās a cash discount; not much but was a few bucks! dip powder manicure was $52! I will for sure be back and hopefully itās just as good next time. They have held up great
UPDATE 10/1: I went back for my third dip manicure and sad to say I am disappointed. I asked if they could do a dip French manicure and was told it would be $20 extra which I was fine with paying. After 2 days the white has already chipped and they look brown. (Pics to show right when they were done to now) I expected them to last and look better than a couple days and especially for the up charge. They still do a great job at the overall manicure and will go back one last time but will not be doing something like this again. If something like this happens again I will sadly be looking for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here because of the many good reviews but service is unfortunately inconsistent depending on which nail tech you get. This salon is really disorganized and my nail tech rushed through the entire mani pedi process. I had booked an appointment online but there was no receptionist / front desk when I walked in, so I had to wait 15+ minutes to be seen. They started closing up and cleaning at around 730 despite closing at 8, and I could see my nail tech rushing my manicure so she could get out of there too. She was super sloppy and cut my cuticles so poorly to the point that I bled and they still hurt days later. She also would not let me show her reference photos and was very rude when inevitably the manicure did not turn out as expected and I let her know that. One of the older women in the shop tried to help and save the manicure with a different color, but it still ended up being more translucent than Iād wanted. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there because my hands hurt and she clearly wasnāt willing to take the time to make things right. I had paid an additional $25 for cat eye polish and she barely even held the magnet over each finger because she was rushing it so much, resulting in a really streaky application. Will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been here a few times since they opened and I do recommend! the prices are average for this neighborhood and they do good work. These rainbow nails in the pic are the best iāve had with dip powder from anywhere and iām very happy with them. Once I got a gel mani I wasnāt too please with but was still decent and the dip powder has been consistently good and they give good pedicures. I took a star off because they do try to push add ons on you and you can definitely feel the disappointment when you donāt give a tip they think is big enough even though I always try to tip between 15%-20%. This annoys me personally because nails are expensive to upkeep and Iām trying my best to tip as much as I can. I think this is a result of an overall problem of workers not being compensated fairly in this industry but I digress. These rainbow nails are fire and my pedi was great so I will be going back again and hoping the results stay consistent.
update: never had a tipping issue again! must have been a one off. Also they are my go to nail salon now! Everyone is super nice and they have lots of new nail techniques. Got catās eye today and came out absolutely gorgeous
Highly recommended!...
