The worst reservation experience of my life and I eat out 2-4 times a week. My family went to host desk asking for a table and they said 15 min but they would text us when table was ready. 30 + min later had not heard so sent my son back to ask and they said ten more minutes. So we continued to walk around the neighborhood and 15 min later went back and they said they had text and phoned but no response so they gave away our time and it would be another ten minutes for another table. I did not receive either a text or call and we used my wife's phone to try both and if course they worked. We went down the stairs and came back ten minutes later and they said they gave away the table because we didn't wait up top. Dee the Host was awful and obviously needed some training.
In my entire life I have never had such an awful experience and my family can never get that hour back. I am sure the owner would never accept such behaviour from their staff or the manager. The room looked nice and the food who knows, but if they treat us like this I am sure they have treated many others. The hostess staff should be fired. We literally went back 4 times and got treated in an incredibly disrespectful way.
For those of you who don't reward bad behaviour, I am sure you will agree to spend your dollars with entrepreneurs and family restaurants who are not so...
Read moreWe were visiting from Tennessee and craving some good Italian food. I Googled what Italian restaurants were near our hotel, and Serafina Osteria was one of a few. When I read their menu and saw dark chocolate soufflé was a dessert offering, that tipped the scales in favor of going there. Upon arrival, we were a bit worried when we saw that we were the only customers in there. It was already 6:45 PM on a Friday evening. However, we soon found out that there was certainly no need to worry at all! The host himself was from Rome and was very pleasant and hospitable. My husband and I ordered two different fresh pasta dishes, and neither of us were disappointed - quite the opposite. Our pasta and sauces were positively delicious as well as the side, vegetable dishes that we ordered. When it was time for dessert, we ordered that dark chocolate soufflé, but didn’t want the vanilla ice cream that was supposed to come with it. Our host suggested that we have some of their homemade whipped cream with the chocolate soufflé so we did. That soufflé was out of this world, and the homemade whipped cream was the perfect accompaniment. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I wish it was in my own neighborhood...
Read moreI have been here a handful of times with my husband. Everytime we didn't have to wait for a table, there were either just a few tables occupied or we were lucky and grabbed one of the last few remaining. This is to say that it is a very chill quiet spot and also very small. But its cozy and dim lighted and I genuinely enjoy the vibe. It is not just for dates, I have seen groups of friends and parents with their grown children enjoying a meal. You can walk off the street and grab a bite so the dress code is very very casual, there isn't one! Lol Now the food!!!!!! Yummy yummy yummy. Delicious plates, and salads that seem so simple yet you know you would never get it right at home. Great portion sizes and never over salted, just flavors bursting through each bite. The service men can be a little less cold and a little more authentic but we have learned to overlook that because the food more than makes up for my server not checking on us mid meal or cracking a smile at any point during our interactions. Seriously go and check it out, you will not be disappointed if you keep my review in mind. Small, chill place with great big...
