Ty Bar — Restaurant in New York

Nice ambience, but the prices, oh the prices... So yeah, it is the bar at the Four Seasons, which pretty much means that the prices are going to be up there. That said, it's still impressive how up there the prices can get. After all, this is New York, and there are truly stellar cocktails available within a few minutes of here (or 15 minutes, if you want to make it down to the East Village). And I'm sure that the $3000 scotch flight is amazeballs, but, well, really? Really?

All that said, the ambience is really quite exceptional - very high ceilings, pleasant staff, a nice fireplace for the winters, and pretty quiet all around.

One of the most elegant bars I've been to. Easy to grab a seat mid-day during the week, come towards 4pm it can get really busy. Bartender was great friendly suggested some great drinks. If you visit be ready for a hefty tab. Thats why Im rating my experience as 4 starts. I've been to many Four Seasons never experienced pricing this high. Ty Bar is truly one of the best spots in New York!
