Food is awful. Was excited to try this place. First of all about food. Salad was with some weird smelly oil. For the shepherd salad the one that a priori comes with cheese they said it’s extra if we want. They brought small portion like sauce cup of cheese - extra $10. For few cubes of feta?!?!? Salmon tartare is absolutely tasteless, I try it everywhere I go and believe me - they don’t know how to do it. Caviar on top was either the cheapest one or spoiled. (Smells and tastes ugly) Crispy eggplants: overcooked, burned on old oil, you can taste it from the first bite. Khinkali: meat was red and raw inside. Im sorry but almost threw up. This is outrageous. Kids menu: overpriced unfrozen Costco food.
These are just the most rememberable things. Not even one dish was at least okay. From 5-6 appetizers only thing we liked is a bread, funny, right?
Service is meh, only girl was nice, I guess her name was Aiza (not sure) and the way she talk is really pleasant. The others had an attitude.
We didn’t even ordered main courses because it was already too much. Decided to leave and visit some other place. The worse experience and disappointment ever.
PS: just for appetizers, child dish and water we paid $200, unbelievable. Feel really bad that my family experienced this. Stay away from this place, better to spend this money in some good restaurant...
Read moreMe, my husband and my girlfriend were planning to enjoy our Saturday evening in restaurant “Sheep of Barashka”, service was excellent, stuff was very professional, especially waiters Nikolay and Yuriy, in the beginning when we came our table was just right next to speakers, half an hour later, waiters moved our table far from speakers with no words, food was delivered very fast and was delicious But the most worst part in restaurant was singer Zaur!!!! First he doesn’t have a good voice and most what we hate- all night he was singing only for one banket table with his relatives, every half an hour he was turning the music off at all, and dessapered from stage, we usually ordering music, but this time we didn’t interesting to order music at all, it was so disrespectful for all guests in a restaurant to listen music only for one table and pronounce in microphone songs only for them!!! All cash for songs that we planning to order brought back home!!! We were planning to celebrate our birthday in this restaurant and canceled right after we got home!!!! I’m not recommending this restaurant only because of singer!!! If management change singer we will definitely come for service and...

Avenue U between Coney Island Avenue and Ocean Avenue is pretty much dine and dash territory - split between a dozen ethnicities. That comes with a huge span of mouth-watering dishes but where ambiance is an unknown word. So, walking into 6apashka or "Lamb by Barashka" is like being teleported to a fine NYC restaurant where great food is paired with a sterling dining experience - without those withering Manhattan prices.
This is a wonderful dining experience and if you are lucky enough to stop in between 12 and 4PM weekdays - their $12 Prix Fixe Lunch is a show stopper! The South Caucasus region plates are one-of-a-kind delicious and the tables are set with linen, silverware, and sparkling wine glasses. The pièce de résistance is a wall-sized jumbotron that displays stunning videos of the region so that at any particular bite you are viewing rivers, creeks, waterfalls, and more waterfalls.
If nightlife is more your thing - the video wall becomes the backdrop for local musicians. We have not sampled that part of 6apashka yet, but lunch is something special we will be going back for seconds on...
