Our party of 8 had what should have been a lovely evening completely ruined by the shockingly unprofessional behavior of the hostess at this restaurant. We had a reservation for outdoor seating, which was fine—until the skies suddenly opened up and it started absolutely pouring. Within minutes, the outdoor area was flooding, and we were all getting drenched, with water pooling around our feet. Clearly, staying outside was no longer an option.

We politely asked the hostess if we could be moved inside—mind you, the indoor dining room was almost completely empty. Instead of understanding the situation, she seemed to take our request as a personal offense, like we had any control over the weather. She began making a visible scene at the host stand, talking loudly and gesturing toward us while chatting with other staff members in a way that made it clear she was talking about us. It was deeply uncomfortable and unnecessary.

When she finally came over to accommodate us, she did so with a level of passive-aggressive hostility that was hard to ignore—slamming chairs and aggressively shoving two tables together without saying a word. No apology, no basic courtesy, just pure attitude. Her behavior was not only rude, it was entirely uncalled for, especially considering we were simply trying not to eat our dinner soaked through in a puddle of water.

It’s mind-boggling that someone with that kind of temperament is allowed to work in a customer-facing role. Worse yet, no manager ever came by to check in, let alone apologize. If this is the kind of attitude this business accepts—or worse, condones—then it’s not a place that deserves our time, attention, or money. There are far too many great restaurants out there run by professionals who know how to treat people. We won't be back—and we strongly suggest you skip this...

I enjoyed beer here but I only come on Saturdays since there are far too many corporate events that book part or entire place in the weekdays especially during happy hour (even though technically there is no happy hour here). I found for even partial space booking, it’s a mad house in here especially when the tape barriers are not properly placed and so event guests eventually take over the entire bar. There were many times when I come early only to get kicked out later because of corporate events so not a fun experience enjoying your beer only to get kicked out suddenly. After getting kicked out many, many times, I decided to make a far departure from coming in 5 times a week to only once a week since they obviously don’t care for my business or others when you’re not a big group though I question why I come back at all? Just another establishment that only cares about the Benjamins and big corporations but not the little Joes who just wanna enjoy a...

Service was horrible. Our waitress spoke to us once, then disappeared. When she took our order, she gave us an attitude for no reason. We saw her on her phone, playing basketball, speaking to numerous other tables, and ignoring us when we hadn’t even gotten water. When she came over a second time to finally give us a drink, she placed it down and walked away without saying a word. She never came back, and different servers had to help us the rest of the night because she was so negligent. The mood of our meal had completely changed because she seemed angry at us/like she was avoiding our table. We were very upset by this experience. We didn’t get her name, but our waitress was a young woman with curly brown hair tied back. We came at around 1:30PM on Saturday 5/18. She should not be a waitress if she cannot complete simple tasks like asking if a customer needs anything or checking on them instead of texting. As a waitress myself, I was very...

Sub Par experience, bland food, but good customer service. We work in the area and we're excited to try this place out. I was surprised they don't have any happy hour specials, but that's not a big deal. We ordered an appetizer and some mains and were quite disappointed in the quality and taste. The shrimp po boy was purely coleslaw and bland so we asked for another one. At this point the manager came out and was very nice and asked about our feedback. The burger was alright. Guacamole was bland. The fried pickles were so salty we couldn't even finish them. So we switched to the cauliflower entree and it was even more bland. At this point we just gave up. Genuinely a good place for drinks. Would be nice if they had specials but I wouldn't recommend the food at all! The manager was fantastic though. 2.5 for that reason.

Brew o’ clock! I came here since it was close to ICE and I had a 2 hour break. I was greeted promptly at the bar by the friendly bartender. Very vibrant place with cool vibes in the afternoon. It was spacious and offered lots of outdoor seating. They had some specials for Sunday which was awesome so I got a glass of wine. I know this is more of a casual place but my only tiff is that they only had stemless wine glasses, I prefer to drink my wine from a stem because it doesn’t warm my wine quickly but it’ll do. I do think perhaps they could carry a handful just for the guests who do want to have it in that glass. I didn’t eat but I did see some of the food that went out and it looked really good. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

My husband and I have dined at Sixpoint twice; once last summer, and 1/10/24. They are consistent with providing great service! They offer seasonal food and beverage options, so there is always a chance to try something new. The ambiance combines chill vibes with the business clientele, making it feel very welcoming. I had the pozole soup, and my husband had the bacon and apple grilled cheese. The apples offered texture and a tart twist to a classic. The pozole soup had tender chunks of pork, with a little kick. The pickled radish provided a brined flavor. It was also dressed with tortilla strips for an added crunch. Overall, this place is definitely a mainstay, and it worth the congestion pricing!
