Slope Natural Plus — Restaurant in New York

Have always loved their heroes. Fresh, good size, excellent selection and very good. Update: The quality of their food has declined, as have the sizes of everything from subs to sides; meanwhile the prices have gone up. Accordingly, I will be searching for alternatives. Yet again, Natural Plus was sadly deficient all across the board. It's sad: they charge $2 for a 20 oz Pepsi, but if I walk down to 3rd Ave and St. Mark's, it's 1.50. Their heroes look anorexic. There's like no meat, and the actual size of the bread used shrinks more & more. I made the error of going back, but I promise that won't happen again...

Love the place, love the people, but they REALLY need to do something about that bacon. I’ve ordered bacon on a sandwich several times and every time it looks like this. It does not taste or look good.

I also think they do better when you order from the menu or do something real simple like a BEC. But once you start adding toppings they don’t do as well as other places. But my main complaint is the damn bacon. Looking like dog treat...
