As a local neighborhood reviewer, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Table 87, an Italian wood oven pizza restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The star of the show at Table 87 is undoubtedly their wood-fired pizza. Made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection in their traditional wood oven, the pizzas are simply delicious. The crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of char. The toppings were also fantastic, with a range of options that cater to all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the Margherita pizza, which had a simple yet classic combination of fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil.

In addition to the pizza, Table 87 also has a range of other Italian dishes on the menu. I tried the meatballs, which were tender and flavorful, and the garlic knots, which were a perfect appetizer to share with friends. The wine list was also impressive, with a good selection of Italian wines that complemented the food perfectly.

Overall, I highly recommend Table 87 to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Italian food. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and the food is simply amazing. If you're a fan of wood-fired pizza, you won't find a better place in the...

I am very impressed by the Doggie Water Fountain right outside the store. It's flowing fresh water! 🐶 Not just an ordinary water dish. I have never seen something like this before. This is so much more appealing for the dogs and their humans. 🐕 🐩🐾🐾 This says to me that the shop considers itself to be part of the neighborhood. 🏘️Not only serving human customers, but being considerate of their canine companions, as well! 🐾🐾😊💖 They also have bicycle-turned-flower-garden across on 10th Street. 🚲🌺 It's an old bicycle with the store's logo on the side and the front basket transformed into a mini garden. It beautifies the neighborhood and is an eye-catching advertising piece for passing people. Earlier this year, the store was also growing some of it's own basil -- or was it oregano? -- in the bicycle basket planter. They have a windowbox planter in front of the store, also with fresh herbs and flowers. What else would they be doing with those delicious fresh herbs, but using them for delicious...

The service was bad, I felt that no one wanted to come to take the order, I waited a really long time, then someone came to me and said did you order? I said no, not yet, after waiting for a quarter of an hour, the restaurant was not crowded, but the food was very late, I asked for olive oil and black pepper and I also waited, although it is natural for that to be on the table with the food, unfortunately, I even asked for water and no one asked me, I am just wondering why all this, is there discrimination in this restaurant, the girl was also called for some parmesan cheese, she did not respond, I felt that the bad service was intentional by someone, I do not know who it is or what the reason is, in addition to that the pizza was cold and not the best, I think that after cooking it did not come to me directly, so it was cold, if the restaurant management wants to do this on purpose with some customers, that is okay, in any case I do not recommend...

This is the best pizza we've had, not only in Brooklyn but in NYC. It was perfect! We took the whole family, husband and wife and two toddlers. They were accommodating to the kids, which is always nice. Often you get eye rolls in Brooklyn when you walk into a restaurant with kids but this place was full of them and everyone was fine with it! It was unclear whether we could order by the slice of we sat down to eat or not but found out that you can indeed order by the slice if you eat in the restaurant. Just know that you cannot get specialty pizzas by the slice, you just pick your own toppings. The pizza was phenomenal. PHENOMENAL! Each ingredient stood out on it's own but worked together with the others to make your mouth be like dayummm! Got a meatball calzone too and it was just as good. Actual ricotta in the calzone which is a must. The food was affordable too!!! All around amazing experience and we'll be back. Often.

I was definitely excited to try this place as I am just staying a couple blocks away and heard about it from a few people. Unfortunately it just did not satisfy, i got 3 slices to go. They put took it from the glass case and put it in the oven, but left it there for maybe 15 seconds before putting in a box and handing it to me. It was not that crowded in there and it seemed quick, but i didnt think anything of it. When i got home 7 mins later the pizza was straight cold: Pepperoni- while the pepperoni slices themselves were delicious and good quality, they could have been crisped. The peps were also just sliding off the pizza and this was one of the most floppy slices ive ever had in NY Mushroom basil- it was average, still the same flop Cheese square slice- despite being on the colder side of luke warm, this slice had a crisp crust and held together well and was my fave out of the 3
