Went during grand opening and they had bogo! Got their recommended drinks!!

Had the osmanthus drink and it was a light sweet drink. It reminded me of a hot chocolate which is pleasant but did not have a strong tea flavor. The warm jasmine was also a light tea drink. Just pleasant as it is getting colder. Nothing much about this experience to make me look forward next time. Compared to Molly Tea’s tea drinks (Molly Tea located two stores up), their jasmine flavored cream attracts a lot of people and their drinks are an obvious tea base. Compared to Hey Tea (located down and across Prince Street), they are more of a fruit tea base.

Each place is different and unique with their own top drinks and selections. This is just my conclusion currently comparing the three on Prince Street across from Tangram Mall in Flushing. Hope it helps people make the best selection when they get their drinks.

They were offering samples outside for their orchid milk tea so I tried some and it was pretty good. Then I saw that there was a promotion (over now) for a free magnet if you bought 2 drinks from their orchid menu. I got the jasmine lemon blast with 70% sugar (medium but it seemed like a lot of people like ordering the large more) and orchid milk teas. Instead of a TV to check for your order number, they'll scan the receipt and it'll announce your number once your drinks are ready. It was nice that they offer a quality guarantee on their drinks (they'll remake it if it doesn't taste good). Quality of the magnet was just okay (nearby Molly's has better quality ones).

The jasmine lemon blast was very sweet at 70% (get 30% instead) and tasted like a lemon skittle for the first few sips. After drinking about 1/3 of the drink the tea flavor started to come through. I came to this place few times since open my impression was not too bad of it until last night. It only take one bad experience for me that make me don’t wanna come back. I came around almost 10pm me and my nephew to get a drink. There was this worker standing by the door looking like he don’t even wanna be there’s I walk in I asked are you still open??? He don’t say anything just giving this rude hand gesture like go go go leave me alone type of meaning. Like really?!?! You are at work you get pay I understand you wanted to close and go home. If you don’t wanna be there you shouldn’t come to work. If you say you close I just leave no big deal but don’t be so unprofessional. You can say we will be closing in 2min something like that. But instead he give this rude hand gesture and not a single word. He looked very unhappy. The cashier was way more professional.
