My visit to Long Acre Tavern on 07/21/23 to attend an event for Manchester United turned out to be an extremely unpleasant and humiliating experience. Despite traveling from a long way with my friends, we were met with rudeness and disrespect from the bar management and a bouncer at the entry.
Upon arriving in line, the lady from the bar management and the bouncer informed me that there was no room for us. I politely asked if we could wait or sit downstairs at the empty bar until space became available for the event, but instead of a courteous response, they yelled at us to leave immediately. It was disheartening to be treated in such a callous manner.
Thankfully, a British guy at the entry, part of the team crew, witnessed the situation and empathized with our plight. He asked us to wait outside briefly and later allowed us in with the team passes, recognizing the unjust treatment we had received.
Nonetheless, the entire experience left a sour taste, and I consider it the worst I've encountered in any bar or restaurant. The security person and managers exhibited a complete lack of professionalism and respect towards their customers. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated disrespectfully in any establishment.
In light of this, I strongly urge Long Acre Tavern to address this matter seriously. The security person and managers responsible for this unacceptable behavior should be held accountable and appropriately dealt with. Customers should feel welcomed and valued, not humiliated and disregarded.
I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously by the management, leading to necessary improvements in the conduct of their staff. Everyone deserves to have a positive and respectful experience when visiting an establishment, and I hope that no one else will have to endure what my friends and I experienced at Long...

Read moreStumbled upon this place because it was the only place close to us still open in Times Square. I believe this location is the only thing keeping this place open to be honest. It was a bad experience from start to finish. Asked for a common cocktail the bartender didn’t know how to make it. Settled on a Malibu & pineapple which we were charged the same price as a specialty drink we ordered. Hard to believe a Malibu & pineapple is in the same price range as their “specialty” cocktail. Decided we’d get another drink & I asked for another more common cocktail that’s only three ingredients at which point the bartender told me “you just keep coming up with these cocktail names”. That was enough for me & we left. As a bartender you should know how to make more than just drinks that tell you the ingredients in the name. Especially to be a hotspot in the city. Service was horrible, bartender was rude & lacking knowledge for the job he was doing, & the specialty drink was not good. Be sure if you’re going here you only order things that give the bartender direct instructions like Malibu & pineapple or vodka & cranberry. They won’t know how to make a screwdriver or anything the bartender doesn’t have an instruction manual for & then the bartender may have the nerve to blame you that he’s too incompetent to complete...
