The Longacre is not just your average local pub; it's a vibrant hub of energy and excitement, especially on game days. Stepping inside, you're immediately greeted by a lively atmosphere, with patrons passionately rooting for their favorite football teams. But it's not just the spirited crowd that makes The Longacre special. It's the way the game is celebrated here, the way it should be: with camaraderie, enthusiasm, and good old-fashioned fun. One highlight not to be missed is the oversized pretzel, a true game day essential that's simply to die for. Paired with a cold beer from their impressive selection, it's the perfect snack to enjoy while cheering on your team. And speaking of food, The Longacre offers a variety of other amazing bar fare that's sure to satisfy any craving. From classic pub grub to inventive twists on traditional favorites, there's something for everyone on the menu. While I didn't get the chance to try the cocktails myself, I can attest to the fact that their beer selection brought me back to the better days. There's something nostalgic about enjoying a cold brew while watching the game, and The Longacre captures that sentiment perfectly. In conclusion, if you're looking for an authentic game day experience filled with lively people, delicious food, and a stellar beer selection, look no further than The Longacre. It's the ultimate destination for football fans and pub enthusiasts alike. ⚽️🥅🍻🍺

Came here to watch El clasico match last minute due to Smithfield Hall being full. I was not sure what to expect but to my surprise this place is very modern, tv galore and has ample seating options (bar, tables, booth, high tops). We sat at a table in the back room and had our own personal tv to watch the game which was amazing. We ordered the jumbo pretzel, BBQ boneless wings, BBQ regular chicken wings, and the loaded tater tots. The food was delicious BBQ on wings was on the sweet side which is my personal preference and meat was juicy and portion was more then enough for one person. Tater tots were my favorite nice golden crunchy exterior loaded with beer cheese bacon and scallions, great dish to share with 2-3 people. The pretzel looked good but tasted like cardboard and beer cheese was not hot enough, would skip. They had an extensive alcohol menu and service was very friendly and attentive. All together tab was fair for amount of food and quality and tip was included so make sure you read the receipt. Would come back with a group of friends to watch any sporting event, as for FC Barcelona games it definitely does not compare to Smithfield Hall when it comes to the vibe and can base but overall still a solid neutral bar to watch soccer and other sports.

Words can't describe the experience I had at The Long Acre. Yet, I will do my best. I came in from Texas to visit family for the holidays. I appreciate you, Peter and company, along with the fellowship of new friends. Food was top notch, I had the wings (to die for yummy, and the pretzel) the selection of drinks was just right. Not some extravagant drink, with all types of mixtures in it. Beer was ice cold and the wait staff from the host, and Daniel the bartender were so inviting. That says alot, especially during the pandemic. To my fellow Man UTD supporters. If you are in the area, and have nowhere to call home, you do now. Get there. Support these men and women, because I know they will support you. The atmosphere in the tavern on match day is great. TVs everywhere, memorabilia you can only find here. Cheers guys. I will be back. Thanks for everything, Mitch

My visit to Long Acre Tavern on 07/21/23 to attend an event for Manchester United turned out to be an extremely unpleasant and humiliating experience. Despite traveling from a long way with my friends, we were met with rudeness and disrespect from the bar management and a bouncer at the entry.

Upon arriving in line, the lady from the bar management and the bouncer informed me that there was no room for us. I politely asked if we could wait or sit downstairs at the empty bar until space became available for the event, but instead of a courteous response, they yelled at us to leave immediately. It was disheartening to be treated in such a callous manner.

Thankfully, a British guy at the entry, part of the team crew, witnessed the situation and empathized with our plight. He asked us to wait outside briefly and later allowed us in with the team passes, recognizing the unjust treatment we had received.

Nonetheless, the entire experience left a sour taste, and I consider it the worst I've encountered in any bar or restaurant. The security person and managers exhibited a complete lack of professionalism and respect towards their customers. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated disrespectfully in any establishment.

In light of this, I strongly urge Long Acre Tavern to address this matter seriously. The security person and managers responsible for this unacceptable behavior should be held accountable and appropriately dealt with. Customers should feel welcomed and valued, not humiliated and disregarded.

I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously by the management, leading to necessary improvements in the conduct of their staff. Everyone deserves to have a positive and respectful experience when visiting an establishment, and I hope that no one else will have to endure what my friends and I experienced at Long...

Stumbled upon this place because it was the only place close to us still open in Times Square. I believe this location is the only thing keeping this place open to be honest. It was a bad experience from start to finish. Asked for a common cocktail the bartender didn’t know how to make it. Settled on a Malibu & pineapple which we were charged the same price as a specialty drink we ordered. Hard to believe a Malibu & pineapple is in the same price range as their “specialty” cocktail. Decided we’d get another drink & I asked for another more common cocktail that’s only three ingredients at which point the bartender told me “you just keep coming up with these cocktail names”. That was enough for me & we left. As a bartender you should know how to make more than just drinks that tell you the ingredients in the name. Especially to be a hotspot in the city. Service was horrible, bartender was rude & lacking knowledge for the job he was doing, & the specialty drink was not good. Be sure if you’re going here you only order things that give the bartender direct instructions like Malibu & pineapple or vodka & cranberry. They won’t know how to make a screwdriver or anything the bartender doesn’t have an instruction manual for & then the bartender may have the nerve to blame you that he’s too incompetent to complete...
