The Whiskey on Grand — Restaurant in New York

Love the atmosphere this place holds.

Not too crowded, has Connect 4 and Jenga and a ping pong table. Basement features a beer pong table, two shuffleboards, and a photobooth. Bathrooms are also located downstairs with a communal washing area outside.

I've usually gone on the weekends, and the staff members are friendly and the DJ typically spins good music. The playlist may not cater to all ears, but it sets a nice mood.

As for the menu, the mixed drinks are pretty much the same as the rest of the Whiskey-named bars. (Whiskey Brooklyn, Whiskey Tavern, etc.) They're reasonably priced the kitchen offers a decent selection of american-bar foods.

Overall a great venue looking for that...

If I could give no stars would have been better but unfortunately I have to put at least 1 star . Honestly I don’t even know where to begin, I came in with my husband for a drink and ash decided to not serve us . Didn’t even ask for id or anything , he said to my husband his eyes looked tired so because of that he couldn’t give him a drink . I feel he was disrespectful and rude to me and my husband . When I have seen Numerous intoxicated people asking for drinks and ash said no problem and gave it to them with out hesitation. In not sure what kind of behavior this is . The Whiskey on Grand is an amazing location to host a big group! The bartenders were amazing - they were friendly, able to handle a pretty big crowd, and they very much so added to the celebration. Joanne was amazingly easy to work with and helped us reserve a couple of tables (including the most amazing birthday sign I could imagine).
