I am not a person to write reviews, but this ecperience was so horrible I had to write about it. This is a local pizza place that I would go to on a regular basis as well as order for delivery. The regular staff that I normally deal with have always been super nice to me. I called to place a small order for pick up this time because I was in a rush and wanted to get my daughters something quick. Tony the owner answered the phone and I placed my order. I called back because I forgot to ask how long it would take and he told me I quote " are you serious? Did you just call to ask me when to pick up this order. This small order? Are you serious. Listen its ready come and pick it up why dont you just come in and pick it up its very busy its very busy just come and pick it up its ready. I called back to speak with him to let him know that I was a long time customer that has ordered large meals before and he cut me off and said im just going to cancel your order and hung up on me. I cannot believe that an owner of a business would talk to his customers that way. I guess he doesnt care who he keeps as a customer and just deals with whoever is there that day. So unless your placing big orders dont bother. Unless its good enough for him he really doesnt care. If he can speak to me that way imagine how he is treating his employees. Read moreI ordered my food at 6:18pm for delivery, only a few blocks away, and received it at 9:10. This was after 3 phone calls to the restaurant. Two calls assuring me it was on its way then hanging up on me mid-sentence. And during the final call they started blaming me for ordering it through Seamless and that I would have to talk to the company because they did not have my order there. The employees then passed the phone around to each other talking over me when I tried to explain what was going on and I eventually spoke to someone (I'm assuming a manager of some sort) who actually sounded like he was listening and wanted to help. He found my order, apologized and said he never received the fax and would send my food over immediately. After nearly three hours, my food arrived and I did not receive a reimbursement, just two simple chocolate chip cookies they were probably throwing out at that hour of the night anyway. I reached out to Seamless and they tried to contact the restaurant but they did not answer. In the end, the pizza was just okay nothing special, the wings are decent - quite large and hot. I understand technology errors, and that was not my problem, it was the horrible customer service lying to me that my food was "on its way" when really they didn't even know my order existed. That’s rude. It’s like you tell me, I don’t work here so that’s why I’m asking. I just froze dumbstruck mumbling about possible animal fats, should have walked out.
So I get a margh slice and it’s trash, the tomato bits taste slightly sour and it wasn’t even warm, like keep it in the oven till it’s piping how am I sitting down to a cold slice in the restaurant?? Also very oily.
I had also gotten a small jerk chicken. The bottom most pieces of which were slimy and congealed, I was nervous giving that to my dog never mind eating it myself! 😢😱
Seriously not sure what’s going on here. Rude service, subpar quality, cold oily pizza.
Never coming here again for my pizza, stick to kosher pizza on Kingston or Brooklyn dop in park slope.
Please train your staff to provide humble, polite service. You cannot tell me does it look like there’s meat on that? Unacceptable.
