Nostrand Station Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in New York

Wait TIME: Let's start off with the line outside.. I waited 45 mins before someone came outside to inform us they were wrapping up an event to which they then allowed other patrons to enter before despite there being a line and they have a no reservation policy. Upon entry they had you write down ur info and took your temperature. (The machine malfunctioned a couple of times to which the front end allowed the patron to proceed despite not being able to capture her temperature.) At least they adhere to 19 ppl for indoor dining.

Seating:I was seated really quickly. Table for 1 pls. I was seated in the corner next to the speaker but at least I had a window to looked out of.

Service: I waited 10 mins before someone handed me a menu and another 30 before someone came to take my order. I felt like I keep playing a waiting game for my entire experience. Service is beyond subpar. In actuality it's trash to the umpteenth power.

Ambiance/Music: If you're looking for a loud brunch spot then this is definitely the place but despite the noise level at least they had a good brunch music selection.

Drinks/Food: I wasn't given any water, cutlery.. I had to wait yet again, I did notice other patrons who arrived after me being served so that baffled me to why I couldn't at least been served some water or the bottomless that was apart of my meal.. Sigh.. In total between the time between ordering and recieving my drinks to get served it was about 15 mins. When the Sangria arrived it was warm not chilled and it was very strong (it had my throat burning and my eyes twitching) if you like strong then this is the place to be. I then had to wait over 1:10 hr from the time my drink arrived to when my food arrived, in the mean time I was checked upon once to ask if I was ok. Sigh.. at this point I feel like I could've traveled to the city ate and be on my way back home. Btw the other patrons who came after me and ordered after me their food came before mine. I mean its just eggs and french toast. Which end up being wonder bread and banana... taste good but 🤷🏽‍♀️ nothing to write home about but enough to write a review tho.

Overall: I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to wait damn near 3 hours to get some eggs n french toast and some insipid warm Sangria.. I wonder how bottomless is the brunch if they only bring one mini pitcher of drink.🙄 welp it  cost me $50 of a $35 dollar brunch and about 3.5 hrs wasted.. Do u know what was speedy tho??? THE CHECK, it came quickly at about 15 seconds after I asked for it. HOPEFULLY they get their customer service thing together but i wouldn't...

This Young Lady has been enterprising since she was a teenager. As a classmate and friend over the years, watching her flourish to the Business Woman she is today, I must say I am absolutely proud and excited for her trajectory. Humble at heart* classy in personality and confidence is rooted and it reflects in her endeavors. This establishment called "Nostrand Station" might look like just another restaurant; BUT I am objectively here to tell you, my experience to enjoy it as I did was wayyyy overdue. Her Customer Centric environment welcomes you and yours into a Bklyn ambience that spells out: "Spread Love It's The Brooklyn Way!" Her staff are professional and reflective of her cultural background to welcome any patron to her History. Family, Tranquility, Purpose.The FOOD!! OMG, ordered Breakfast and Lunch. Two Henny Coladas, (and I don't even prefer Hennessey) each, and some brunch and lunch orders left us set for the day!(..sooo good). The MUSIC!!! Will welcome you In and set you on your way when leaving with high spirits of positive energy. Prices!! For the neighborhood, her competition must be so jealous that she is in a position to offer such reasonable prices for the meals. Arianna...you are a Queen. More Power To You!! I will DEFINITELY BE BACK...Thank you for being you consistently....

I really really wanted to love this place but the service was horrendous! I came all the way from Queens to support this establishment and it was a complete let down. My husband and i went for brunch and we were told the wait was an hour ok cool no problem, they took my number and said they would call with an update. An hour and a half later we get a call that it will be 45 more minutes. Finally we get a call that our table was ready! We go in and there’s confusion so i say “ you called me and said my table is ready” they sit us at a counter by the window and completely forgot about us! 30 minutes sitting and no one introduced themselves or took our order! I had to angrily wave some one down and got attitude! The nerve ! The waitress takes our order brings the drinks and disappears for another 30 minutes! I had to once again wave someone down to ask about our food! We ordered chicken and waffles! Nothing complicated and it took forever!! The food was basic and not worth the headache. I will never visit this establishment again. GET IT TOGETHER...
