This is the first restaurant I have ever tried the Uzbeki cuisine. At first we used to love it here, the employees here doesnât know bare minimum English to make a little conversation on what I want or not. But it was okay, food was really good. And the restaurant is not too old. They are kinda new. And to be absolutely honest I donât know how much money I have spent here, should be nearly a $1000. I dont even have the track of how many times I have been here since I discovered this restaurant. At the beginning the quantity was great. Always felt like value for money. But recently, my last 3 visits, I have noticed something changed, their food portions are significantly lower than it used to be. And at this point Iâm not bluffing. See the photos yourself. Roulette kebab used to come in 4(check the menu) but they served 3, I asked they said itâs bigger in size thats why 3. But I have already stated above that I have spent nearly $1000 here and I have tried all of their dishes in the menu. Well then they changed it to 4 count now and they were smaller.
So this is where the disappointment comes. Itâs like the proverb, âyou die as a hero or live long enough to see yourself becoming the villain.â
I used to love coming here and their food. But they are doing this with every other dishes. Which opposes my initial impression âvalue for moneyâ. Itâs not that anymore. Maybe I will...
Read moreBefore I start, let me mention that I am an Uzbek and spent my first 20 years of life in Uzbekistan. I have been to several Uzbek places in NYC, but visiting this place made me feel I was teleported back home! Food was very delicious and authentic! First of all, the plov is 10/10. The meat was melting in my mouth and rice was so flavorful! I am surprised how they managed it here in USA considering how different is the quality of ingredients. I tried other their manti which were great! Yes, their waiters may not speak great English, but that usually hints on the authenticity of the place which I can confirm. Just be a bit patient considering the waiters were helpful and respectful. Every little details of the restaurant is just like how restaurants of this type are back home so if you are looking to try real authentic Uzbek cuisine, this is your go-to spot for sure!
PS. prices are very affordable for the amount of food you...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting to have had food at this restaurant I ended being taken to the hospital due to the fact that whoever made my meal had 0% respect for culinary discipline and disregards of any hygiene! I warn you DO NOT EAT HERE! AGAIN DO NOT EAT HERE! This was one of the meals I had ordered I waited over an hour for my food and they had someone who cares less about your health and well being but more about breaking a buck! The platter was filled up to more than a half with this dark crude oil! My cars oil is cleaner than this! This is some 3rd country people who reuse their oil because they canât afford to use new oil! I have made a complaint with sanitation and you already have multiple violations! I hope this place shuts down so no one can ever encounter what I had to encounter! Take your money else where!! I never write reviews but I had...
