I came here about a week an a half ago to enjoy the night with my partner. The places looked great and had a good energy to it. We got our drinks and sat in the back. I really appreciated the interaction with the bartender and loved that the drinks prices were appropriate.
I then went outside for a quick smoke and walked back in. As I was walking back in, I saw an older women walking slowly and then blocking my path back to my seat. I told her "excuse me", thinking to myself, who the hell is stopping my path back to my seat. This women then went on to say to me "bathroom customer only".
I looked at her with disgust and in my head, "who are?!??!". I told her that I'm a paying customer and please don't block me because I am getting back to my seat.
I have never been so livid as a paying customer to have been treated with such disrespect.
I was extremely frustrated and wanted to make sure the staff members knew of what happened. The bartender that I informed this situation said that the person who stopped me was THE OWNER of this bar, I was appalled that an owner would do this to one of their customers with such disregard. Another staff member informed me that this is a normal occurrence and said that the owner is drunk at the moment.
I would just like everyone to know of my experience going there and to be aware of possible situations that can happen to people if they interact with the owner...
Read moreWent here to meet my friend at the bar for his birthday. They were playing salsa the whole time and the bar area was getting crowded. I started dancing salsa with my husband and my girlfriend when an alder lady who seems to be the Manager or owner of the restaurant came to us and said with a very mean look on her face "there is no dancing here!" My friend and I looked at each other like what did she just say?? No dancing?? I know this is a restaurant but we were by the bar area not bothering anyone. What kind or restaurant/bar blasts salsa music and then tells people you can't dance? I was so confused I approched the lady and I asked her "why?" which she replied this is not a cabaret. I felt so ofended I told my husband I wanted to leave and left the place. Why do you have a mexican restaurant blasting salsa music like a bar if you can't dance. It does not make sense and to later offend your customers for dancing it's so unnaceptable. I for sure won't be coming back here and will tell all my friends, family and followers in social media not to come here. This is not the 1920's and there is no prohibition to dancing in the Unites States that I know of. Don't run a mexican or latino restaurant if you don't support the latino community and are racist....
Read moreFor a Mexican food place we expected more spice and flavor. Food was good but we would have wanted to have at least some extra hot sauce available to add to our food. We would have also appreciated extra small plates to split the appetizers. We were awkwardly trying to eat from this appetizer plate that was placed in the middle of the table without spilling food on the table. Since we were two people sharing the appetizers and we were sitting opposite side from each other. The appetizers also needed a bit more spice. The best thing was the frozen margaritas, they were just perfect! To recap: Food was a bit bland, they didn't have extra sauces, nor extra plates to share the appetizers. Margaritas were excellent. Overall the price was too high for the flavor of the food. Not sure I...
