During our first (and last) order at Vinnie's, we ordered through Seamless around 8:45p with a predicted delivery of 9:30-9:40p. By 10p, the order had not arrived, so we called the restaurant, and they said our order was on its way. The restaurant is 10 blocks from our apt, and google says 13min walking. 20 minutes later, at 10:20p, our order had still not arrived, so we called the restaurant again, and again, they told us it was on the way - we, of course questioned them, since that is what they'd told us before, but decided to wait a bit longer. At 10:45p, 2hrs after we placed our order, we tried calling the restaurant a final time , and there was no answer. So, we called seamless to cancel the order. Seamless also attempted to call the restaurant, and there was no answer. So, Seamless canceled our order, and we started heating up some leftovers from the fridge. Around 11p, our doorbell rang. When part of our order arrived (one item was not delivered), the remaining 2 items were cold and soggy and inedible. Will never be dining with Vinnie's again! Not sure where all the positive reviews have come from. Totally unacceptable...

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. To give this company a 1 star is to much. After ordering my food I went to pay with a $100 bill which was all that I had on me. The person behind the counter took my money. He asked if I had anything smaller. I said no. After 10 sec of hesitation he says I cant take this. Not knowing what I know now I took it back, I apologized and told him to have a great day. My man didnt agree with that so he went back into the pizzeria without question and ordered pizza. He paid with the same $100 bill which the guy accepted. So he says my lady just came in here with the same $100 why didnt you accept it. He paused and the best thing he could come up with is "YOU LOOK LIKE A HARD WORKING MAN". I went back in the store and confronted him about it. He said well at least you know it's not a racist thing. I said no not only was it racist, it was sexiest, judgmental and completely unacceptable. Bcuz I have on joggers, uggs,a Northface and a hoodie (work clothes)makes me a thief. I followed up with "I will be filing a complaint on your company" and he said do whatever you want....

I only ordered delivery here, perhaps the experience is better in person. I tried to call to clarify a menu item, but no one picked up. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza. The initial arrival time was given, then I got a text letting me know it was delayed, no worries though. They ended up being a few minutes late from that but again not a big issue. The food that I got was delicious, but the issue was that it was not what I ordered. I got the meatlover's pizza which was supposed to come with ground beef on it, but it didn't. I ordered and paid for a marinara and two ranches. There was no marinara. Additionally, both ranches had obviously different liquids in them, and they were both gross for ranch. I think they were maybe mayo, but either way, it was unpleasant to dunk my pizza crusts in. The wings were fine. Nothing crazy good but...

This was my first time here. They accept credit cards and have tap to pay. I had a slice of the Buffalo Chicken and a slice of the Baked Ziti pizza. I wanted to like it, but I wasn’t impressed. The Buffalo Chicken pizza didn’t have much of a buffalo flavor, and there was this weird brownish sauce on it. The Ziti was dry and tough. We went late on a weeknight, so I’m wondering if it just wasn’t fresh, but it didn’t taste very good. The crust was also dry and tough. There are other better pizza places close to here.

Quintessential NY pizzeria! A yummy, deliciously thin crust ( but good size) with tangy sauce, gooey cheese & a perfect slightly blackened crispy crust. The Very clean inside and the Portuguese torch singer playing softly in the background made this quick dash in -on a cold grey day, a delight! Id add pictures but we both gobbled it up so you just have to trust my fully belly ! 2 slice lunch special well worth it !

Great for a quick bite & a true NYC slice. Great deal: 2 slices & a soda for $5(+ tax), so it comes to $5.50 ... I initially thought it was false advertising on their sign outside but the +tax is written small :-) Cute indoor atmosphere & I loved the owner/staff! Slice had a nice crispy bottom, good cheese to sauce ratio with a classic NYC flavor.
