i never write reviews much but please go check this place out!! my boyfriend and i came here for our one year anniversary and the woman chillyann at the front was very kind and gave us the only corner booth. her energy was absolutely off the charts and welcoming. the place was clean and the vibe was on point. our service, justin, did a wonderful job with us! very patient, knowledgeable of the food, and adaptable. overall amazing service. now to the food, i really did not expect it to taste so good! for the price compared to the quality of the food, there’s no way it’s so affordable. i ordered the ribeye steak and it was cooked wonderfully, the taste was great and it just melted ! i recommend getting chimichuri on the side, it was deliciousss. the mac and cheese tasted like home, it was seasoned and the crust of the mac and cheese was perfect. the brussel sprouts were good as well! my boyfriend got the same sides and honey glazed salmon. 11/10 salmon omg, the sauce was flavorful and drenched but it didn’t make it soggy while the skin was crispy and hot. we also got the frozen peach lemonade , the peach was so subtle and not overpowering. honestly it was another 10/10. overall please give this a try and i hope you meet the two...

So I ordered my food as I was on my way to the restaurant. I was only 10 mins away. I walked inside and I stated my name and that I placed an order online. The female behind the counter stated that it will be 30mins till I get my food because I ordered on postmates. I was ok with that, I told her I would return. I stood in my car parked in front of the restaurant for the whole 30mins. As soon as I recieved a text that my food was ready (30 mins later). I jumped out of my car and went inside to retrieve my food. Within 2 mins I was handed my order. I walked out, sat in my car and opened up the food containers. (I didn't drive away, I ate in place) Well, I was beyond disappointed. The food was cold. I ordered the brisket platter with Mac and Cheese and Mashed potatoes. Everything was cold. So I ask, was my food sitting there for 30mins? Could they have given me my food sooner? The food was definitely sitting for a bit in order for it to get cold. My order was $30+. I don't mind paying premium price, but I also expect premium food & service in return. I don't see myself ever returning. Food was mediocre at best. Even cold it should taste good in my opinion. Oof, where do I start. This is not “real” BBQ. I’m fairly certain these reviews have been paid for, this 4.8 star is fake. Not only is it low quality BBQ, it’s just low quality food.

The first red flag is that I ordered brisket and they didn’t know what the point and the flat were. It took 25 mins to come out, and is takeout only despite what the reviews say. These things were only disclosed once and we paid. Had I known all this in advance, I would have just walked out.

The brisket is as dry as a rock. It is tough, leathery, devoid of all flavor and texture. They give you what looks like a few cuts of the point, slather it in BBQ sauce, and cut it extra thin to mask how tough the meat is. There are chunks of untrimmed, unrendered fat. There’s no semblance of bark.

If you want “real” brisket, just buy some from your grocery store, salt and pepper, toss it in the oven at 225 fat-side down for 10-12 hours until internal hits 195. Even an elementary cook without trimming or wrapping at the stall will get you better than this restaurant, which is...
