I'm local. Unlikely I will ever go here again. Maybe the NJ Goldman commuters will like it. It's a total loss of imagination & ingenuity when the owners put this together. It's a mashup of every trend over the past 10 years that is so tiring. First off, it's a "gastropub". I can stop there, but I won't. Outdoors is wheelbarrow & flowers as if you are going to a country dining spot. Indoors is the 20-30s cocktail bar throwback. Disney is doing this stuff now. While the servers are in Brooklyn hipster leather butcher wear, the menu is just kind of meatish & yet kind of Mediterranean. BTW - Med is tiring. I have heard the fired oysters are good. Will give them that for throwback ingenuity. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay to try them as you will find out. The cocktails, of course, the Manhattan & Old Fashion. A few other potential interesting ones. My friends in the Michigan sticks are drinking Manhattans & Old Fashions. So why did I leave? the air-conditioning was weak. It was 91 degrees outside, and probably 80 inside. The staff seemed dazed, though friendly. One of the staff asked me to move down a seat at the bar to make room..probably asst manager. Of course I graciously complied thinking I was making room for a couple. But then the staff put up the front chair legs over the rail, as no one came to take the seats. As a result, I was crammed next to a guy who took a cologne bath. The wine prices were way-out-of-step (the beer taps don't work for a gastroPUB). It is intimate. Clean. I'm sure a few dishes are good. But overall disappointing for a new addition to the hood. Totally corporate drawing board contrived. If it is a small ownership group, please pivot just a little bit. Think fried oysters...and expand from that. Until then. would rather go to nearby Smith & Mills for a similar but more authentic and better vibe. Have to say that I miss the predecessor at this location, simply "77 Warren"...and I was there maybe 6x's per year. Not much. But now I...
Read morePlace gets busy and has nice vibe but unfortunately that is only good thing. The bar is tiny so you can’t just grab a seat but host has to seat you even at the bar. I sat at bar and I never wanna be pushy and instead wait for bartender to be free and let him make first move but instead you have just three bartenders chatting a storm amongst themselves and I’m just sitting there like a total dope. Service non existent because I have to call bartender over for second drink as well.
I tried a few of their signature cocktails and they were super sweet that I didn’t want to drink anymore. They only have bottled beers. I wasn’t too hungry so tried their $30 hotdog and it tasted awful. I rather get Nathan’s for much cheaper. I thought about trying their burger but if they mess up on a hotdog, there is no hope for their burger.
I think I may even come back if it wasn’t for the awful service. I just think talking to their colleagues instead of doing their jobs is so unprofessional and something I cannot overlook given we as customers are expected to tip after our meals. Even as I call them over to close out, I feel bad for them and myself for interrupting their conversation since they didn’t care to even ask if I wanted to close out when all my...

Briken and his staff have painstakingly thought through every experience, every menu item, and every customer touch point to delivery an unassuming, friendly, and unique experience like none other in NYC. A walk-in friendly local hub for Tribeca locals and travelers alike, WarrenPeace will make you feel as if you are walking into a world of mysterious poetry, calming your senses as you take in the laid back and moody atmosphere. The atmosphere alone warrants an afternoon visit, but once you experience their menu built on carefully sourced ingredients and a rotating list of masterfully concocted cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike), you will never want to leave.
While their outrageously good burger paired with a side order of duck fat fries is a fan favorite, the true gems are the Albanian menu items dishing out bold flavors that will satisfy and...
