I have been here a few times and had okay experiences - nothing outstanding but good enough. But my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I came in wanting to give my nails a break from gel and asked for a regular clear polish mani with a simple round shape—but all my nails ended up with noticeably different shapes. The technician didn’t take the time to give me a proper manicure at all, it was rushed as seen with the different shapes. While clipping my cuticles, she almost mistakenly cut into a big chunk of my skin thinking it was dry skin—it was painful and careless. She didn’t even realize it was not dry skin until I flinched and yelped.

What made the experience even worse was what happened at checkout. While I was walking out and in the process of sending a tip via Venmo, the other technician who helped me with payment, stopped me from walking out and asked that I show her proof that the tip was sent before I left. I found this incredibly offensive and inappropriate. To assume a customer may lie about a tip and make them show you is completely unacceptable. While I always make sure I tip for any service I receive out of respect for people’s time and effort, legally it is up to the discretion of the customer to tip or not, so asking for proof is absolutely unacceptable. Initially I was impressed by the cleanliness and aesthetic of the salon. The service started great, I got a dip powder manicure and regular pedicure. However this initial assessment went out the window after the second day as my nails already started looking scratched. As the week went on, the entire top coat peeled and my nails looked like absolute trash. I was on vacation and it was quite embarrassing to have my nails looking like this. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I have never had my dip powder manicure peel in this way, immediately after a service.
