Very disappointed in this place. We asked if they were closing and they said in two hours so we sat down. When we sat the waiter said you have to order now what do you want? I said can I have a menu first? After he hands it to us he stands there staring at me with his pen out shaking his leg. I asked if I can have a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered very quickly as we were starving. Right after we received our food they said we had to pay right then and there because the registers closing. We still had an 1 1/2 until they closed and we haven’t even eaten our food yet. She left the bill on the table and we began to eat. Besides the fact that the food isn’t that great and very expensive. She kept harassing us to pay the bill mid broccoli in my mouth. I payed so I can enjoy what was left of my dinner. We spent over 100$ for 3 items and they put 30% gratuity for two people. I’m an over tipper anyway but they treat you like you’re not gonna pay the bill. They’re very rude and very weird with their energy. Don’t waste your time. Harry’s next door is better food, service,...
Read moreIt was a horrible experience. Don't eat here if you're black. I and my gf walked in around 9. And we asked if they were still taking orders as it closes at 9:30 pm. The teller refused to answer the questions. We asked him 3x and he just handed us a menu, rudely. Then when we finally start ordering, he now becomes an English PhD, suddenly he can understand us. And we paid... I didn't tip cos he was rude. Then they proceed to serve everyone else. Even those who came later. Didn't even give us water. Then the teller drops off our food and says "here", rudely again. I noticed the white and Asians get told thank you and stuff. We were treated with disrespect cos we were black. Really that's it. Such a shame really, we talk about racism and normally accuse white ppl but these Asians can be rude/...

They have lunch specials, which come with your choice of miso soup or a side salad. The salad dressing was really gingery so if you don't like ginger, you might want to ask for it on the side, or maybe opt for the soup.
I went with the sushi sashimi lunch. It comes with 3pcs of sushi, 7pcs of sashimi, and a tuna roll or california roll. I have no complaints. Everything tasted fresh. It is a bit pricey for a lunch but it's sushi in Battery Park, so the prices are pretty standard for the city.
If you're not interested in sushi, they have other dishes, like fried rice, noodles, pad Thai - basically a mix of different...
