I've come here at least 2-3 times per week since moving to this neighborhood for work. It is overpriced to say the least but that is expected in the Financial District. The staff are typically relatively unfriendly but I attribute this to the fast paced nature of this establishment. I usually order a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a bagel which is about $7 + tax. This is double what you would pay any place else but for the convenience I bite the bullet and swipe. Today I ordered a plain bagel with bacon...just bacon. Since there was only bacon I was confident my total would be below $7 so I threw in a large hot chocolate, which was terrible to say the least. To my surprise my total had come to $11.49. Almost $12 for a simple bagel with bacon. I discreetly asked Susan if she had charged me incorrectly and she confidently belted out "Yes, you have more bacon". To avoid a scene I waited for my sandwich and left once it had been handed to me. The bag felt rather light so I proceeded to check the sandwich near the outdoor seating and was shocked to find there wasn't any more bacon than an egg sandwich would typically have. I walked back in and politely mentioned that almost $9 for a bagel with merely two measly charged strips of bacon was extreme. I wouldn't have an issue if there was indeed a significant amount of bacon (not that I wanted it but I'd understand). Susan proceeded to look at me in disgust as if I were wasting her time. When I made the comparison to the $7 sandwich I typically get she scoffed at me "so what? that's the price". Fortunately for her the place was really crowded and I had 0 desire to engage in a screaming match with this woman. I will never eat here again and will make certain that none of my colleagues spend another dime there EVER. Susan was RUDE and unprofessional and this is consistently her attitude with patrons. I hope that they consider revising these prices before they continue to...

25.06.2018 After taking the Liberty Cruise and checking out the famous Statue and Hudson River we decided to stop for Bagels before heading back to Times Square. I had originally set my heart on Black Seed bagels but again due to logistics we opted for this spot. Thankfully we were not disappointed. It's located in the business side of lower Manhattan and its clearly a firm favourite for a lunchtime stop.

Great variety of fresh appealing food. Everything looked tantalising and freshly prepared. I just had to try the Rainbow Bagel and filled it with Tuna Mayo and Tomato - toasted. My friend had the Garlic Bagel with Cream cheese. Wow, tasty delicious and a great portion size so its rather filling. It hit the tummy grumbles spot on, washed down with an Ice Cold Fanta.

Service is quick and efficient. They seem to have a winning...

The staff here is extremely rude. I along with coworkers come to this location all the time to get orange juice and muffins. Every time I or my coworker go there we get two cups of ice. Today for some reason I was told by the cashier that I had to pay for the cups of ice. I told the cashier that the lady with the glasses who usually assist me gives me a cup of ice for free all the time.

The ladies proceed to head to the back for a minute or two. They come back and in tandem tells me that they always charge for the cups of ice "except when they feel it's warm" "the other times they were being nice and they don't have to be nice if they don't want to". The attitude exuded by the two ladies especially the ladies with the glasses was horrendous. Me and my co-workers come here all the time and we've dealt with the attitudes before but today was perplexing and I'm...

Pick A Bagel is conveniently located right near the AMEX building and has higher quality bagels than a couple of other bagel places nearby. The restaurant seems to be generally clean and nicely laid out, and it also has a wealth of options (especially for bagel toppings), so if you're looking for something outside the plain bagel with plain cream cheese, then this is a decent place. The only caveat is that it is expensive for non-plain bagels with non-plain cream cheese. It was over $5 for a sourdough with scallion this morning, which is honestly a bit of a rip. So if you want a tasty bagel and cream cheese and also don't mind paying quite a bit more, then this would be a good place to go. If you're just looking for a quick bagel fix, I'd go somewhere else.

I loved these bagels!! New York bagels are always really tasty but the seasoning on this everything bagel was especially flavorful and really elevated the experience. The bagel itself also had a great bite and chew to it. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a tuna melt with capers on an everything bagel. The bacon egg and cheese was so filling that I ended up carrying the other half of the bagel around for hours afterward because I was so full. The capers in the tuna melt were huge but all the ingredients felt very fresh and they were delicious. The line does get pretty long, but it moves quickly and the workers have it down to a science, pretty much. I would definitely come back again!
