A Hidden Gem for Authentic Venezuelan Cuisine!
White Maize + is hands down one of the best Venezuelan restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The owner, Kathy, is fantastic—her passion for quality and authenticity shines through in every dish, and the attention to detail from the entire team is impeccable.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The beef carpaccio is a must-try, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The empanaditas and tequeños are crispy, cheesy perfection, and the cachapa de queso is pure indulgence with the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The lasaña de asado negro is an absolute showstopper—tender, rich, and packed with deep, comforting flavors. And of course, you can’t go wrong with any of their arepas—each one is packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients that transport you straight to Venezuela.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Venezuelan food or trying it for the first time, White Maize + is the place to go. The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the experience is unforgettable....
Read moreThis is one of the best Venezuelan restaurants that I’ve ever been so far. The flavor of the food is absolutely amazing. Everything is very tasteful, from the starters to the mains. We started with some Tequeños that were accompanied with a yummy Guasacaca sauce. Then ordered a Cachapa with chicken, which we loved; the sweet and salty combination of the corn flour and the cheese will leave you wanting more. Following one Arepa to share, which are massive, super soft and full of everything they could fit in. Lastly we had a lasagna as our main and this was a game changer. I was not expecting this plate to be so tasteful. It’s a Lasagna that I had not eaten ever before, not even in Venezuela. This one is a MUST order. We were surprised with a Tres Leches Cake from the house and even being full, we finished it because of the wonderful flavor. I love sweets and this one also left me wanting more. We tried every single cocktail and loved all of them.
This place is a MUST GO. Highly recommended. The service, vibe and atmosphere were fantastic. If this is not the best Venezuelan restaurant yet,...

After 30 minutes of watching endless delivery orders leave the kitchen, we were wondering why it taking so long to get 2 arepas. I had to leave my table and ask the waiter (who was chatting with a friend at the bar the entire time) how much longer, and he quickly said very soon. Another 30 minutes go by, and nothing. That’s when we became fed up, and politely asked for the check and left at 8pm. Good service involves communication with your guests when there are delays - and there was no communication. I can’t say I recommend this place, as it wasn’t even busy when were there. Side note: The restaurant was freezing, and a fan was non stop blowing at us the whole time. Myself and the table next to...
