Yunnan Cauldron Rice Noodle — Restaurant in New York

Yunnan Cauldron Rice Noodle is such a nice quiet spot when you want a quick but comforting meal. They specialize in noodle soups with different proteins I got the sliced beef today, but the lamb is definitely what I’m eyeing for next time .

The best part is you can choose your noodles rice noodles, flat noodles, etc. I went with the flat ones today and they were perfect in the clean broth. The broth itself is light and soothing (good for kids too), but they leave soy sauce and vinegar on the side if you want to amp it up. And major bonus they have homemade chili oil right on the table, which makes everything taste even better.

Their cold appetizers are also super affordable at $6 each. They didn’t have the potato today, so I grabbed the tofu skin instead chewy, refreshing, and topped with fresh cilantro.

Overall, really solid noodle spot. Simple, tasty, no fuss. I’ll be back to try more proteins and the other noodle...

This place serves no noodles, only soup!!! Bad customer service, the new cashier doesn’t even remember my orders right… This is the noodle shop near the park, do not go. They change their cashier, before it’s was a lady with orange shirt, now they change it to some other lady. Before the noodles had chicken leg, now only few noodles and basically just soup for $10....

The noodles were suppose to $10 for the delicacies noodle, but the cashier told the chef that if we were to add a egg, it’s going to be $13, so we decided not to, but in the end it was only two egg and soup with no noodles, it there’s no noodles, we could have just paid $4 , because the cashier said it was $2 each for a fried egg. But i paid $10 for 2 eggs. Seriously, the cashier didn’t paid attention to my orders and was arguing with chef too. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. I was a frequent customer here until they change the cashier, her attitude was mean, the previous cashier was so nice and offer us fried dough sticks too and even brought the noodles to our table , the current cashier doesn’t even offer the same kind of...
