Many know my reviews and posts, I have many followers and am one of Googles top local guides. Today, my adventures led me to Famous Bartending School, here a new adventure begins the moment you walk in to this atmosphere. Right away you are greeted with a smile and become family. You quickly step into the role of bartender and learn how to make so many drinks in a fast but easy pace to remember. The instructors are all amazing and have not only been on the job for a while. But have the experience of this school to back up their reports. If you have never seen or tasted cocktails, it's okay, they take their time with you to learn and make sure that you understand the basics and prepare you to be one of the best out there in the industry. I found a new saying here... It's not about being good at what you do, but how you make others feel good at what you do. You can be flashy and make mistakes, but in the end, people are their to have fun, unwind and willing to help along the way. Don't be a good bartender, be a friend who serves up a drink. I love this school and want to thank Jessie and all his instructors for being their to support this new blossoming family that they have pridefully grown in the...
Read moreThe instructors are really good, and I am learning a lot from this school however I do have a couple things I think people should know before signing up. Even though they say that the schedules are flexible if you do not stick to one class there's a possibility of you falling behind. For example, I went to the morning class yesterday and we did not end at the same place as the night class (my regular class) ended meaning that I am behind. Also, to pass the school you must make 12 drinks in 7 minutes which I did not find surprising at all however if you fail the test (which you will if you make 1 mistake) you must pay $50 to retake it. As someone who did not account for that in their budget and knows that it was never mentioned on the website or the video classes, they send out I feel quite snubbed knowing that I cannot afford to retake the test. I also wish that there was a video lesson on the difference between the types of liquors and brands that we use in class. I often become quite confused on which bottle is which (in terms of relative pricing and whether something is a bourbon, scotch, or whiskey) and had a...
Read moreScam. Save your money please. You don’t need to go to bartending school to get a cert and for what they teach you it’s very over priced, especially the The only reason this has high ratings is because when you take the class they offer you a bonus point for the test you have to take in order to pass and get the cert to write. Review on the spot there. Obviously I’d your name shows up you’re not going to feel comfortable giving a bad review knowing they’ll see it. Also the school and staff need to use more inclusive language. The language used is very binary, many people nowadays who will be future students here or customers we serve as bartenders might not identify as a man or woman or might not want to be assumed they are so to prevent offending anyone and making everyone feel included, a change in the language used could make more people want to take this course too. They claim to hire you and give you paid gigs after taking the course but there’s so many people that there aren’t enough opportunities for everyone. Mainly the same people are used for most...
