Summary: Pizza: tasty, Buffet: often barren, Games: some broken. Went to John's today. On the plus side, it was fun, people were friendly, gluten free options are clearly marked and, for an extra $3 you can order GF personal pizza. Pizza was decent. Good crust--a little on the thick side, but soft, crispy. Toppings are a little bit lacking and the buffet was constantly out of something--and not just one thing, but when we first got there, both soups were out. Later, the soups were there and then out again. The green onions at the baked potatoes, spinach, mashed potatoes, pasta--at least 6 significant things at a time would be out, with patrons waiting around. The fried chicken was constantly out. I'd check the buffet and see it empty, then see people walking with some on their plates, go to the buffet, only to find the chicken gone, again. Finally, I decided to wait in line for the chicken--yes, there was a CHICKEN LINE! After about 10 minutes of waiting, the line was about 20 people long and I was half way through it. Fortunately, there was still some left when I got there, but there's no way everyone in the line got some. The staff are not on the ball with keeping food stocked. I walked by the desert bar and there were more empty trays than full ones. I'm not demanding and have been to many buffets and I've never seen so many empty spaces. They need to figure out how to keep their buffet properly stocked. They seemed to do alright with replenishing the pizza, but even those had some flavors that had signs saying you had to ask for that one specifically. So, while I wanted to try the spicy peanut butter pizza, I wasn't going to wait around for it--not after the chicken line! As for the game area, the big ride in the middle was fun. Some things weren't working. We wanted to get the kids on the teacup/teapot ride and it was out of services. Other times, you would swipe your play card and it would take the credits and not start the game or give an error message. Finding an employee walking around was rare and, when we found one, they directed us to the pay counter for a refund of our credits. The prizes were ridiculously priced--900 tickets for a small $6 stuffed animal. We had just over 900 tickets between 3 people, playing for 4 hours. I think that would make it a $60 stuffed animal. I had to remind the kids they're playing for fun and enjoyment and that any of the prize here can be found elsewhere for a few bucks. 3 stars because the kids had fun, the food(when not empty) was good. The employees were friendly(though a little overwhelmed--especially in the fried chicken department!). Will we go back. Yeah, but not before I get a...

Read moreI came here with my 2 year old daughter and 14 year old cousin for all of our first times. We were all super excited everything was going super good until we got further into the games. Just about every game had no balls, I kept swiping my card losing credits thinking I was messing up some how just to realize the game didn’t have the balls to play it with. Not only that after a long day we were starving and we were keeping our good spirits in hopes that the food was going to be the best thing ever. Sadly as we got to the buffet there was nothing filled: no salas no ranch, no any type of pasta’s not even any sauces, no deserts only pizza and the. pizza they kept restocking was only about 5 at a time that would get attack and aten right away. And what really disgusted me was that there was food all over the floors all over everything looking like a prank in a show. There was not a single fork, spoon or cups! I asked 6 people for a fork so my 2 year old could eat some type of apple sweetening desert we came across some how. And were we ate..there was no one clean table. The table we ate at was the cleanest one and it was still dirty. All the workers were hiding in the back and once they poped up they would shrug and roll there eyes when I would ask for salad or ranch or even a fork. It took until I asked the manager, the poor guy, to give me what I requested and still it took over 10 minutes just for ranch. I have no idea how this place passes the health inspection because this place was seriously what you would see on tv as a prank. Words cannot explain how disgusted and how unpleasant my one and only visit was. I will be finding out how to report this place to the health department because my poor daughter was eating in nothing but philth, the ONLY reason I let her continue eating was because I had no idea were I was and the mall was closed. I felt like such a bad mom for having my baby eat in that but she had to eat before her bedtime and luckily she did not know what was going on all she knew was that she had her favorite, pizza and it had the 2 year old satisfied. So if you are over 2 years old I would not recommend this place at all! Do not waste your money. This place is the nastiest, unprofessional place I have ever been to in my entire life..And FYI they will NOT give you a refund under any circumstances, I saw more then 2 people try to get refunds and they kept being told “No” and a lot of...
